Guided Group Tour & Trip Reviews

I have visited six different countries in Europe and Latin America over the years. However, touring with students was a unique and unforgettable experience. From day one, the EF team was dedicated to my training and prompt in answering questions. The tour leader training program (in Portugal) was invaluable. I don't know why anyone wouldn't do the pre-tour training! Going through the adventure together with my travelers in Costa Rica, learning lessons in patience and perseverance, and embracing the ways of a foreign culture truly pushed us outside our comfort zones-- in the best way possible. My students and I are returning home with newfound perspective and we are eager to tour again.

Wonderful itinerary and tour director. Comfortable busses and hotels. Just the right amount of free time for the students. The special activities, like the zen mediation and the gold leaf chopsticks making, were really interesting and enjoyable!

Our director (Vanessa Soto) was the best! She bonded with the kids and made their trip extra special. Everything was greatly coordinated and incredibly timed. He’s already signed up for the next one!

I felt safe at all times, we got to see the more local Costa Rica rather than the tourist areas. Our guide and driver were amazing!! Odir and Jose were hands down the best!!

Our tour guy Sergio was awesome from the moment he picked us up from the airport and until we left Madrid airport! Very knowledgeable, kind and patience. Sergio is alway stay on top of his game by explaining every details of all of the places and what to expect at every stopped. As a tourist it's very important that we get the right information and our tour person Sergio did just that and more. I am (Christina) was a parent of Canchana the student on tour. We both was very skeptical about going to European country because we know nothing about it. Now I am very happy and please with our trip to Spain. Sergio make sure that we all are safe at all times. The only things I would recommend is food. We would have love to eat more of the authentic culture Spanish dish. Other than that we have a wonderful time and experience. and will do it again in tue neat future. I know that Boswell high school will be planing something similar to the Spain trip in 2025. We would love to have Sergio to be out tour guy again.

This was my daughters second school trip abroad with EF Tours. I would highly recommend student travel with EF Tours. Sending an underaged child abroad without a parent is a huge decision, and this company does everything to make the process as easy as possible for the parents and travelers— the complete planning from sign up, payment plans, setting up the food, transportation and accommodations, to providing very knowledgable tour guides.

Our trip was amazingly planned out with one great experience after another. Even when a problem arose (not due to any fault of EF), the EF team was ready and able to help us.

What an incredible experience! My daughter had the best time and experienced so many things that I never would have been able to provide for her if it wasn't for e f tours. The pictures were absolutely incredible the shopping was fun and the way you guys handled the emergency in the end was awesome. Thank you for taking care of my daughter!

So great to take a trip you don't have to plan or worry about. All the excursions and destinations were great. Wendy was an amazing EF tour director, with a huge love for her country and tons of knowledge about the culture, wildlife and the rainforests. Could not have been a better trip.

The tour guide was fantastic! He was from Rome and really had insights into culture that we all appreciated. I would have loved more time in the museums and a bit less free time than was allowed. There was about 4 hours free time a day and maybe half that so as to have more time at the attractions would have been even better because the places you took us were AMAZING!!!

It was very organized and educational for the students and kept the parents very informed.

The tour was wonderful. Our Tour Director, Miss Heidy, was so friendly and knowledgeable.The hotels were comfortable and clean. I would highly recommend a Touch of the Tropics for groups interested in seeing a nice variety of ecosystems that Costa Rica offers.

Kaja our tour guide made the most of our experience. She was very knowledgeable and was approachable and attentive to any questions we had. Our trip started out pretty bumpy but EF Tours was not at fault. It was all related to British Airlines. I would recommend better dining for the tour but I also understand time constraints and obstacles that must be met in order to feed a large group.
