This company is not aer lingus. After a booking made for flight, car and b and b we realized within 10 minutes that we had included the car and b and b for 10 days not 6. The flight we wanted to keep for 10 days. I immediately called, and e-mailed. Everything was closed for the "holiday". I finally got hold of an aer lingus operator who told me that they could only address the actual flight. She gave me a number to reach the "store". Message machine full. No response from e-mail. Today I received an e-mail saying that the vouchers had been issued and I could call (yet another number) with any questions. The operator told me as rudely as possible that there would be no refund. I could return the car and not use three vouchers but no refund as I had not met the 24 hour limit. When I explained that I had been unable to reach anyone, she told me that that was untrue!!! Basically, she called me a liar!! I am stunned. I sent another e-mail asking for help, but I am not expecting much. This is not what I expected after seeing the Aer Lingus name.

This company is a scam. They had the flight tickets booked under united airlines. When we reached Chicago(our connection location), we were informed that they only terminal and airline flying to Dublin, was NOT United Airlines. They had booked us on the wrong airline, or they misprinted tickets. There were other people that we did not know, on this tour at the airport at the same time. Their tickets were correct, but mine and my travel partners were not. This led to us missing our flight to Europe. When trying to contact EF regarding a rebooking of the flight, they blamed us for this error and wanted to charge $800+ for new flights. If we had done that, we would have missed two full days of our tour, that they would not refund us for.
EF is an absolute scam. We are not college students, rather adults in their late twenties. This was no fault to ours, this is all to blame on EF. Absolutely worst customer service.
Highly Recommend
The London-Paris-Amsterdam trip through EF Ultimate Break was terrific! When looking into travel programs, one aspect I want is organization. EF was highly organized. From flights to transportation in each city to the activities planned, EF had everything down pat.
Our tour leader, Kyri, was equally as fabulous. He was fun and excited to show us each city. A guide can make or break a tour, and Kyri made ours special.
I would highly recommend looking into a trip with EF!

DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. Im literally crying because they kicked my off my trip and i called so they can put me back on. and she said it was too late but they didn’t even tell me. this all happened yesterday and i said “wheres my 2THOUSAND DOLLARS that i already put in the trip.” and she has the audacity to tell me “they already spent it” WTF HOW DO YOU SPEND MY MONEY FOR MY TRIP BUT IM NOT EVEN GOING. what was the point of paying for travel protection.WHAT A SCAM. they really do just want your money. i should’ve done more research, they had a whole lawsuit towards them.

EF Ultimate Break specifically caters to 18-29 year olds, and their pretty strict about this (though the broader spectrum of their educational programs are open to adults and working professionals).
Their main target being 18-29, tours are designed to not be price prohibitive, itineraries include a lot of social activities, and the emphasis is on having fun and staying active, with a sprinkling of educational value thrown in for good measure. Enough for you to maybe convince a parent to put up some of the cost.
Incredibly studious types who gravitate to history tours, archaeological sites, and long moments in each stop learning from a guide may want to check around first before choosing to travel with EF Ultimate Break. One of their mantras is “we don’t do boring” and let’s face it museums often fall under that category.
The emphasis is on being active, seeing and doing a lot - both on the historically significant side as well as the locally immersive side (which in this case might mean your bunkmates are frequently sampling the nightlife).

Fantastic private tour to South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Dubai and India!
My daughter and I had a wonderful trip to South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe and India as well as Dubai through Ritz's tours. We went on a 3 1/2 week private tour and enjoyed each moment on the Safari's through Chobe National Parks, as well as Hoedspruit - Harmony. Karongwe Lodge was beautiful and the events scheduled were awesome! Lucas, Manager for Karongwe is superb and we all had a great time. Mandlah the Safari Ranger, and our tracker, Oriel were fantastic and they went out of their way to go deep into the woods so that we could spot the lions, zebras, cougars, elephants, giraffes, water buffalos, and impalas. The local tour guides, such as Michael in CapeTown, Bernard in Victoria Falls/ Zimbabwe as well as Richard in Botswana were exceptionally knowledgeable and a great time was had by all! Also, the Mosi-oa-Tunya / Victoria Falls was breathtaking, and the sunsets were awesome! The safari in Botswana was just as good with Mitch as our ranger and tracker. There were a couple of small snafus in South Africa, with pickup at Hoedspruit airport by Buoya Buoya for Travel to Karongwe Lodge and the second transport drive from Johannesburg airport to the hotel; however Kavita from ERM Tours took care of it right away so we felt we were in excellent hands, and no longer worried in the end.
India and Dubai was also fantastic, and the service provided by the local tour company, Travel and Beyond in India was superb! Sanju and his team provides truly excellent service so we also enjoyed our stay in India. We were provided beautiful leis upon arrival and felt very welcomed in India. Our local guides in India were also fantastic, Poonam our guide in Delhi, went out of her way to be sure our stay was fantastic as well as Jay in Jaipur, Chancel in Agra. They were all helpful and made our stay so enjoyable! And of course our fantastic driver David whom we had for the week in India was superb! He always made us feel safe with his great driving, and his timeliness was more than excellent. Between cities before meeting with our local guides, David our driver gave us historical facts of the areas we drove by and we thoroughly enjoyed our drive with him. We couldn't have had a better time without them!
The hotels were top notch and we especially loved the service provided by the hotels, "Trident Jaipur, and Trident, Agra. Dubai was just as fantastic with the local guide Hamzah; and all the destinations within Dubai was fabulous, including the Louvre museum, the Tech museum, the Frame, "At the Top Burj Khalifa" as well as the desert Safari, and the camel rides. All in all, a "10" star rating for the service provided by Ritz tours, Lillian and Olga, as well as the local tour guides in the above mentioned destinations. Thanks!

My wife and I recently traveled to Los Vegas and the Grand Canyon using Great Value Vacations (GVV). They charge high prices and use the cheapest flights and accomodations possible with no options to upgrade. On our flights to and from Vegas our seats were in different areas of the plane. One of us in the front and the other in the rear. the Hotels we were booked in were all double beds, not a king, not even a queen bed. Really GVV a married couple and we arent traveling together or sleeping in the same bed!!! To top it off we spent 1 night in a Prostitution Den, it was the dirtiest, nastiest hotel we have ever stayed in, and yes prostitutes all over the place. In no way shape or form will we ever use GVV ever again, and will never recommend their services to anyone!!! GVV will most likely respond by saying we booked the trip wrong or place blame on someone else but the bottom line is, GVV is the company we trusted to make sure we had a good trip!
