It was a very enjoyable trip. First time ever to those places. We purchase all the trip options. Otherwise, I do not believe we will not see that much. Our arrival and departure city were Munich, but we did not see that much of Munich which was a disappointment. We understand that Cosmo is a budget tour and with the purchase of option tour, I believe it was just right.

This was our first trip to Europe. Please note the 5 stars are for value and how much we enjoyed the tour, not for the hotels we stayed in [although the hotel in Vienna was very nice] - but we knew that going in.
Our travelling companions were great and our tour guide Zophia [sp? - she was from Budapest] was fantastic. She did everything she could to meet needs/requests, and herded our group of cats with good cheer.
The tour itself goes very quickly, with Prague still being a blur after the jet lag of overseas travel. My wife now insists that we arrive a day early on our next trip, which is a pretty good tip.
All the cities we toured were beautiful in their own way. The local tours and tour guides were very informative. Be ready to walk. The bus rides were a pleasant way to see the countryside, and Zophia imparted much local knowledge along the way. I would highly recommend this tour for those who want a taste of these cities.

Considering the several tours that I have taken (primarily with Cosmos) I would rate this one
at or very near the best of all.
A good portion of this rating should be credited to our wonderful tour guide (Orsi) She was, without
question, the very best of any tour that I have taken!!
The tour was,all around, the very top, and exceeded my expectations at all levels!!

It was pretty awesome, we got to see just about everything. The tour guides are so helpful and caring. One thing I could say is that maybe they can ask tour groups to rate the meals that are included and optional right after the event, that way you could have better feedback about the quality of the food and their customer service. Not all restaurants were a great experience.

Also, I had a very awful experience at one of the leather making demonstrations in the shopping mall in Florence, Italy and no one followed up with me about that situation which involved 3 other people I brought on the trip, and I recommended Cosmos to them! You are most welcome to reach me at ethanphoenix83@yahoo.com if you need further information about that. Thank you

But overall I do continue to recommend Cosmos. Cosmos had nothing to do with our experience at the shopping centre but I would say that Cosmos should had contacted us as a courtesy follow up for continues customer service.

The Scandinavia trip was wonderful! We landed in Copenhagen, Denmark and were there for two days which we were able to explore the city when we arrived at our hotel & then explored it more with all our fellow travelers. The coach journey with our tour director was very good & informative; we did a few ferry crossings which offer us a beautiful view of the fjords. We had a great time exploring Bergen & Oslo, Norway; beautiful cities. In all we had beautiful weather ( only one day it rained but it didn't stop anyone from enjoying ourselves). Our last day & night was in Stockholm, Sweden and again we were impressed with the city and it's beauty. Our tour guide & bus driver did an excellent job!

The Scandinavian experience exceeded my expectations. Lilly, an excellent tour manager, a congenial travel group and, of course, the beauty of Denmark, Norway and Sweden, all made it memorable. I appreciated the carefully orchestrated work done by Cosmos. Each detail was addressed and make the experience of moving through three countries easy and smooth. The food was excellent, the accommodations were good and the cost was very reasonable. This was my first Cosmos trip, but I plan on more in the future.

My husband and I celebrated our 45th anniversary with this tour. From beginning to end, it was wonderful!!!
Our tour guide, Giordana, and our bus driver, Anslo, were fabulous. Giordana was so well informed and was delightful with all of the people on our bus. Anslo kept the bus so clean and knew the roads and drove safely. We rotated seats and got to meet all of our fellow travelers that way. We always left on time and were picked up on time.
The hotels we stayed at were always clean and gave us easy access to the cities we were in. We were able to see the highlights of each city during our stay and use public transportation.
The meals that were provided with the tour were plentiful and fresh. We loved all of the breakfasts! We took advantage of the optional excursions to restaurants in all 3 cities that were special experiences.
We were fortunate that the weather was perfect and clear making all of our ferry and boat trips enjoyable.
The additional tour guides were helpful and knowledgeable about their cities.
Our favorite part of the trip was the Vregland Park. Superbly beautiful.
The only complaint was not being able to use the bus restroom for fear of unpleasant odors on the bus. We understood, but sometimes it was a long ride and the women were uncomfortable.
We would recommend this tour to anyone who was interested in traveling to Scandinavia. What we also liked was the affordability of this trip and the excellent value of what we were given.
We would travel with Cosmos again!!!! Thank you!

It was marvelous! The tour guide and driver were excellent! They were very informative and entertaining. The sites were excellent. Only had one truly rainy day. Otherwise might have an occasional shower. Had a nice group of fellow travelers. The excursions were excellent with only one complaint. The morning tour of London where we were supposed to see the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace was disappointing because we were taken to a side street to see the new guards come out, but did not see the actual changing of the guard out front. Would definitely recommend this tour.

i would give the itinerary five stars. Our tour guide and coach driver did so much in adding quality to the trip. There are so many stops in quaint towns with great food and shopping. You do not have a lot of time in scheduled stops, but the you get a great overview of Britain.

I found many of the hotels lacking. In several hotels the triple occupant room my son and grandchildren were in barely had enough room to walk around the beds. Very disappointing considering the cost of the trip.

Shepherds Bush Dorsett London-nice, small rooms, very modern, expensive hotel restaurant, very close to underground transportation and mall. My son's name was incorrect on the hotel roster. He was listed as Erin Buffalo. 4 stars

Leeds-nice hotel. Walking distance to shopping, hotel food good, felt safe walking around even though area seemed run down. My daughter and her husband did not have a room when the tour group arrived. Marge our tour guide worked with staff to get them a room. 3 stars

Edinburgh-older hotel. Miles from city center so you need to take a bus. We took the elevator to the second floor and had to walk down a flight of stair with our suitcases to get to our room. Arrived around five p.m. and even though the restaurant was empty we needed a reservation to eat and our time was 7:30 pm. We opted to eat in the pub. My son had a triple room. He was not the primary on the room his 13 year old daughter was. Our tour of Edinburgh and our tour guide was an excellent addition to our experience there. 3 stars for hotel.

Highlander Hotel Scotland - mold on the shower and bathroom wall near shower, bug crawled out from under blankets, very warm in room and noisy with window open due to Hotel entrance and parking lot. Food was very good. Would not recommend.

Holiday Inn Liverpool-nice size room. Air conditioning only worked in lobby and restaurant both areas were freezing. In the rooms it was noisy with window open and hot in room. About a 25 minute walk to Albert Dock. Most of the walk was a pedestrian walkway through a shopping mall. 3 stars

The Pond Hotel Glasgow-far from city center, about a 30 min walk. Dinner was provided. As soon as everyone got through the buffet line once the food was taken away. Would not recommend.

Novotel Cardiff-great hotel. Clean, great food, friendly staff, nice size room, air conditioning, should set the standard for Cosmos hotels. Short walk to city center. 5 stars definitely.

Jury's Inn Plymouth-decent hotel in city center. Food was good. Had cookies on counter when we entered hotel. Staff moved cookies under the counter until we were all checked in. Cookies reappeared after everyone went to their rooms. 3 stars

Kensington Close London- near local sites. Hotel rooms small but clean. Had to pay to use pool, gym and Internet. Restaurant has good food. Sticky Fingers restaurant a few blocks away was much better. 4 stars, and would not stay there again when in London.

In many cases it seemed we were an inconvenience to the hotel restaurant staff on the nights dinner was included (exception was Highlander Hotel restaurant which was very accommodating). It almost felt like some of the hotels were unprepared for such a large group.

The only excursion we booked was the sheepdog demonstration. It was very informative and I would recommend it. The Sheepdogs are adorable. The Highlands are so beautiful.

It would have been nice to have a free /leisurely day half way through the trip to rest.

The trip was a great experience for my children and grandchildren. Overall we had a very pleasant time.

Warm Regards,
Sharon

The tour was well-designed and we had a great tour guide, who shared information, stories and interesting facts at just the right intervals (without talking all the time as we drove!). Our favorite part was Scotland and the highlands, but Wales, England and London were wonderful too. In particular, our hotel in London (Kensington Close) was a great location and we could get easily to many locations, including some by foot (museum district).

The trip was most enjoyable and was pretty much as advertised. There was some free time built in which was good. It would have been nice to have been given maps of each destination where we had time to explore. The accommodations were mostly quite nice. The tour guide and bus driver were always pleasant and professional. We did get to see a lot of wonderful sites.

The trip was exactly as advertised. We really enjoyed the entire experience. Our tour content was excellent, the excursions were a huge addition (actually - they made the trip!), the people we were with were delightful and our guide and driver were a plus. I would recommend this trip and Cosmos to anyone.

I am giving this trip a 3 1/2 stars because our tour guide was mediocre and because one of the London hotels was also mediocre! The Kensington Close Hotel room was dorm-room small; anyone over 5'11" would have been uncomfortable in the beds; the bathroom sink was tiny and had no shelves for toiletries; this was the only hotel that charged for WiFi (9.9 pounds!).

Otherwise, the itinerary was intense but very interesting. The hotels were comfortable. The included meals were very good; there was only one meal that was a five-out-of-ten. This trip could easily be extended to add the two days of travel to get there and home again. Cosmos is a very good touring company. We have traveled with other companies that charge much more money for less included tours. The additional excursions were also very interesting.

The Cosmos personnel that were available in the London hotels were very helpful, especially those in the Novotel London.

I did write to Cosmos about the tour director and the hotel and received an understanding reply.
