Day 1 : Havana

Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Havana. Upon arrival in Havana you will be met by your personal chauffeur guide and transferred privately to your hotel in a classic American car.

Day 2 : Havana

Spend the morning exploring Havana's beautiful old town at your own pace with your private guide. You'll discover the four main squares and tour one of the famous cigar factories before enjoying lunch at the famous La Bodeguita del Medio. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure. You might like to visit one of Havana's many interesting museums or just wander around and get to know the city better.

Day 3 : Havana

After enjoying a morning at leisure, this afternoon you'll discover this iconic city from the comfort of one of its icons: a classic American car. This scenic two hour private guided tour is flexible so you can discuss with your guide and driver how best to spend the time, however typically we would recommend starting with a drive along the famous Malecón sea wall, through the crumbling, atmospheric streets of Vedado into modern Havana, past Revolution Square and the famous Hotel Nacional before ending up at El Morro harbour fortress.

Day 4 : Vinales

Your chauffeur guide will take you west out of Havana today, travelling along the autopista through rural Cuba for approximately two and a half hours to the beautiful countryside province of Pinar del Rio and the tobacco growing fields of Vinales.

Day 5 : Vinales

Enjoy a private tour of Valle de Vinales with your chauffeur-guide today. After enjoying a mojito cocktail on the balcony at Los Jazmines, you will be driven through the picturesque countryside, passing classic cars and horse-drawn carts on your way to the Mural de Prehistorica: a huge mural depicting the history of evolution in bright, vivid colours. You'll also see many of the distinctive limestone outcrops, known locally as mogotes, which mark the landscape.After enjoying lunch you'll visit one of the large networks of caves which Vinales is famous for. The most common cave, Cueva del Indio, involves a gentle walk and a short boat ride inside the cave.

Day 6 : Trinidad

This morning your chauffeur-guide will take you east through countryside in which you'll witness everyday life in rural, real Cuba, to the colonial city of Trinidad. The drive takes around seven hours, but with the added advantage of a chauffeur-guide you'll be able to take detours and stop off en route at sights of interest to break up the journey.

Day 7 : Trinidad

This morning you will explore the colonial heart of Trinidad with your guide, taking in its churches, squares and museums before enjoying lunch at a colonial restaurant (pay locally). The rest of the afternoon is at leisure.

Day 8 : Cayo Santa Maria

This morning you will be met at your hotel and driven to your all-inclusive resort on the white sandy beaches of Cayo Santa Maria.On the way you will stop at the city of Santa Clara where you will see the monument and museum dedicated to the revolution's greatest hero, Che Guevara. You'll also have the opportunity to visit the pretty town of Remedios where you can explore the small town's atmospheric streets and colonial square before continuing to the Atlantic coast and cross the 50km causeway linking the Northern cayes to the mainland.

Day 9 : Cayo Santa Maria

Day relaxing on the beach. You might like to opt for a spa treatment, do a spot of snorkelling or simply rest and relax by the pool with a good book.

Day 10 : Cayo Santa Maria

Day at leisure - be sure to head down to the beach at sunset this evening to listen to the saxophonist serenade you whilst you look out towards the horizon with a glass of bubbly in hand.

Day 11 : International return flight

This morning you will return to Havana in time for your international flight. The journey will take approximately five hours.

Day 12 : International return flight

Arrive home today to complete your journey.
