Go Guided:

There are so many benefits to letting someone else take on all the details that come with having The Perfect Trip. See why more and more travelers choose to Go Guided — and why they never go back.

5 Reasons to Go Guided:

Go Tour Managers!

On Day 1 of your trip, you’ll meet a friendly person who sure does know a lot about your tour and the destinations you’re visiting. This highly skilled professional is your tour manage and from the moment you meet this key player on your tour, you’ll know you’re in good hands. With their rich travel backgrounds, as well as their useful information about language, currency, and all things local, you can relax and enjoy the ride.

Go Culture!

Visiting a destination gives you a taste of the local culture. But imagine actually becoming part of that culture. Staying overnight in an Irish castle like Old-World royalty…feeling the cool waters of the Great Barrier Reef envelop you as you snorkel in its turquoise paradise…or rolling dough with an Italian chef to make the perfect pizza. It’s not just about all the iconic spots that will make for the best photos, it’s about diving into another world that makes for the best memories.

Go Product Team!

Our product experts are probably on the road right now — scoping out the best of our worldwide destinations. They go, take it all in, and find the moments they love best. Those are the moments they create for you. Those experiences and sights comprise each itinerary and make each one extra-special. Best of all, you don’t have to plan a thing. You just need to choose which itinerary best suits you.

Go Social!

Travel is social by nature. Guided travel is extra social. Meet a cast of characters: your fellow travelers, tour manager, driver, local guides and more. The social aspect of guided travel is one of the best parts! Many travelers on our tours have forged lasting friendships. Think of all the wonderful people waiting to meet you out in the world.

Go Worry-Free!

Your peace of mind is the most important thing to us. And that starts with our roundtrip home to airport sedan service. Forget taxis, airport fees, or public transportation. We will get you there...and back. And if for any reason you need to cancel your tour, you can do so — right up until the day before departure — and receive a full refund (thanks to our travel protection plan).

There are many ways to experience the world:

Among Collette’s worldwide collection of tours we offer a variety of guided travel choices. No matter where (or how) you want to go, Collette can take you there.

Small Groups, Big Experiences

From vibrant cities to remote villages, immerse yourself in other worlds. As part of a small group, enjoy accommodations chosen to capture the spirit of the destination, savor spectacular local cuisine, and take the time to explore on your own. Along the way Explorations sets the stage for the unexpected moments that make travel so special. With just 12-24 passengers, these are the personal adventures that today’s cultural explorers dream about.

Amazing Family Moments Included

Collette's Family tours bring travelers of all ages together to experience the world’s greatest destinations. There’s no better classroom than the world, no better education than taking a walk through history. Today’s parents — and grandparents — want to share the riches of travel with their children and grandchildren. Each tour in our family line is specially crafted with the best local experiences, iconic must-see's, family-oriented hotels and immersive cultural activities. Children ages 14 and under enjoy substantially discounted rates.

Tigre y Delta Boat Tour - $60

Buenos Aires Just 18 miles outside of Buenos Aires, discover the extraordinary ecological zone of the Parana River delta. Enjoy a tour with a local guide on this breathtaking journey. Behold a picturesque coastline dotted with marinas, stunning homes and riverside dwellings. Upon arrival in San Isidro, take a short trip up the Tigre River. A private river excursion by boat explores the streams and canals of this river delta. Each year, 90 million tons of sediment carried by the river creates thousands of islands and islets crisscrossed by rivers and brooks. The natural beauty of the Tigre will amaze you as you travel down its web of interconnecting waterways. Then head to the Puerto de Frutos, where the banks of the Tigre are transformed into an open-air market. The streets come alive with activity and color. Have time to explore the market with vendors selling fresh flowers, fruit and delicious jams and honey, while others sell beautiful handmade crafts including rustic fabrics and furniture, and accessories made from cane and willow. Join us on this day in the countryside getting to know the natural beauty and the market culture in Argentina. Duration approximately 5 hour(s). Transportation is included. A minimum of 2 passenger(s) is required to operate this option. Tour is shared service up to 9 guests. After 9, this tour is private with a local guide.

Iguazu Falls Jungle & Boat Ride (Brazil Side) - $95

Foz do Iguazu Venture on a safari into the heart of a lush tropical rainforest where 275 dazzling waterfalls cascade and create nature’s soundtrack. In Iguazu National Park you’ll find rare and endangered species of birds, more than 700 species of butterflies, vibrantly colored toucans, the giant river otter and the elusive jaguar. Your tour begins in an open air jeep – trek through the heart of the forest, and for those feeling a little more adventurous, follow one of the guides along nature trails to the Salto Macuco waterfall, passing ancient trees and wild orchids on the way! Then it’s time for your exhilarating trip on motorized inflatable boats. Mist from the thundering falls nurtures the lush flora surrounding you – including orchids, hearts of palm trees and bromeliads – and rainbows abound. Enjoy a refreshing “waterfall shower” as the captain maneuvers the boat to fully appreciate the scenery. From beginning to end, this rendezvous in paradise is unforgettable. Duration approximately 2 hour(s). Transportation is included. A minimum of 10 passenger(s) is required to operate this option. It is recommended to bring an extra jacket or poncho, as you will get wet during the adventure on the Iguazu River. A short walk on the trail is optional for those comfortable walking; for those with limited mobility, they are able to accomplish this tour with limited walking.

Tijuca Forest National Park and Historic Santa Teresa - $90

Rio de Janeiro Venture into the lush Tijuca Forest National Park by open-air jeep for a tour that truly showcases the spectacular rainforest around Rio de Janeiro. Tijuca is all that remains of the Mata Atlântica (Atlantic Forest) which once surrounded Rio. The 8,000-acre park, once stripped bare by sugar cane and coffee plantations, was replanted in 1861 and features stunning waterfalls, high peaks and verdant forest surrounding Corcovado Mountain and the Christ the Redeemer statue. Go in search of the forest’s extraordinary wildlife and take in the natural beauty that surrounds you. Pause at the Vista Chinesa overlook pagoda where you’ll be rewarded with inspiring views of Ipanema and Copacabana beaches, Guanabara Bay and Sugarloaf. Stop at one of the park’s many entrances and take a short walk on level ground to experience this jungle up close. Then you’ll delve deeper into Rio’s fascinating history, thriving legacy and blend of colonial classical and Brazilian Imperial elegance. Set off for a tour of the charming Santa Teresa neighborhood, often compared to Paris’ historic Montmartre. Arrive via the historic Santa Teresa tramway, the last one still in use in Rio, taking in captivating views of the city below as it travels across the landmark Lapa Arches aqueduct. Santa Teresa's traditional district features beautiful estate homes from the beginning of the century, built mainly by English railroad managers. It’s now experiencing a revitalization as an artistic and bohemian center. Duration approximately 4 hour(s). Transportation is included. A minimum of 5 passenger(s) is required to operate this option.
