Endless blue and white buildings, ancient sights, turquoise waters, lazy sun-soaked days and lively fun-filled nights... if this isn't your idea of paradise, then we don't know what is. The celebration starts with historical vibes in Athens and ends with an island escape through Mykonos & Santorini and gives youthe chance to celebrate your senior year, with all those milestone university and college experiences like fancy formals, Grad Nights and cap-throwing ceremonies. Plus, as a graduation gift we'll include a photographer to capture these can't-miss moments. Can you say, ‘best Graduation ever!'?Get onboard!
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Athens
Check into your hotel and enjoy a free afternoon exploring the city before meeting up with your group. We’ll take you on an orienation tour up to Pnyka Hill and get your cameras ready for the most stunning views of the Acropolis and ancient Agora. Tonight, join us for an authentic Greek dinner accompanied with traditional music and dancing.
Day 2: Athens to Mykonos
Before boarding your ferry for Mykonos, join your Trip Manager on an included tour around the centre of Athens where you’ll have the opportunity to climb the Acropolis Hill; giving you a closer look at the Parthenon and the UNESCO heritage temples that surround it.Once you arrive in Mykonos, enjoy a relaxed evening by the beach or head into the famous winding corridors of town.
Day 3: Mykonos
In Paradise Beach, there’s no hurries and no worries. Choose to sleep in or go for a morning swim; the day is yours to spend as you wish. Later in the afternoon opt in for a tour through the narrow alleyways and intricate paths with our local guide to help you navigate through this maze by the sea. Grab a bite to eat and a sip of ouzo before hitting the clubs or heading back to the beach.
Day 4: Mykonos - AKA The Celebration Party
History-lovers can sign up for a day trip to the sacred island of Delos, a.k.a the ‘jewel of the Aegean’ and the legendary birthplace of Apollo and his twin sister, Artemis. We'll jump on a short ferry ride to this uninhabited island, one of the most iconic archaeological sites of the Mediterranean. Or for those that just want to keep it low-key, today is your chill day before we all meet back up this evening for a massive Grad beach party that carries on into the night.
Day 5: Mykonos to Santorini
You’ve ‘graduated’ from Mykonos, it’s time to embark for Santorini! Hop on for a quick ferry ride and we’ll be there in no time. (Isn’t traveling easy when you have someone taking care of all the details?)This evening, get your first glance of Santorini’s unforgettable sunsets and enjoy the dramatic views of the Caldera from the quintessential Greek town of Fira.
Day 6: Santorini
This is your chance to get on board for a dreamy sailing adventure through the volcanic islands of the Med. Take an easy hike to the top of one of the islands for panoramic views or soak up the wellness vibes in the healing sulphur springs below, smothering yourself in the mineral-rich mud for an au natural spa therapy session. After lunch, we'll visit the cute village of Pyrgos before taking a transfer back to the hotel.
Day 7: Santorini
Explore the Red and Black beaches of the island or relax by the pool. Today you’ll have the option of visiting a local winery; tasting the regional flavors that grow in the volcanic soil and ending the day winding through the famous blue and white buildings of Oia.After the sun sets, your ultimate graduation celebration is on; fancy attire, flowing wine and authentic hor d’ouerves, all included. Make sure to bring that exclusive Contiki graduation cap we gave you back in Athens. *Hint hint* You’re going to want to capture this. Commencement speech, anyone?
Day 8: Santorini to Athens
Recouping from the best night ever? Good. Well, it’s last call for Santorini photos and shopping before heading back to Athens.You’ll arrive late in the afternoon just in time to find a great dinner at a local taverna for your final night in Greece. (Say it isn’t so!)
Day 9: End Athens
Make sure you exchange contact info with your fellow graduates before catching a transfer back to the Athens airport. With so many amazing memories you can now fill your scrapbooks with, the only question is… where to next?
