  • Arusha: Support this social enterprise that employs local disabled people with artisanal skills. Watch weaving, glass blowing, beading, paper making and metal work.
  • Tarangire National Park: Take a drive through the ‘land of giants’. This national park is known for its elephants and sprawling Baobab trees.
  • Serengeti: Watch out for local wildlife as we head to our camp, which is bang in the middle of these endless plains. Could the location be any more epic?
  • Serengeti: Cruise around the plains at sunset to explore new areas and spot a few more animals before they head off to bed.
  • Serengeti: Was that lion we heard last night? Let’s go find out. Take an incredible morning drive in search of the wildlife we heard throughout the night.
  • Ngorongoro Crater: Experience a one-of-a-kind drive inside an ancient volcano that’s packed with incredible wildlife and right in the heart of the action.
  • Serengeti: Another day, another game drive, giving us the most amount of opportunities to see the wildlife that roams these plains.
  • Ngorongoro Crater: Pick up some authentic art, jewellery or crafts to treat yourself or your BFF back home.

Short Description

You can reel off the names of the Big 5, you've imagined yourself driving through the Serengeti in an open-top vehicle, and you've dreamed of going on safari since you first learnt how to say 'Hakuna Matata'. How about we throw in some views of the Great Rift Valley, a visit to an ancient volcano dense with game and predators, and nights camping under the star-swept skies of the Serengeti plains? Now this is the Africa trip you've been waiting for.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire

Touch down in Africa at Kilimajaro Airport where a transfer will take you to our start hotel in Arusha. Here your Trip Manager and group will meet you around midday, ready to start your African safari adventure. The first stop will at the Shanga community project giving work to the disabled people of the community. We will then head off to our first national park in Tanzania - Tarangire; home to two of Africa's giants: the elephant and baobab trees. The lodge will provide us with a buffet dinner tonight.

Roika Tented Camp (or similar)

Dinner

Day 2: Tarangire

An early start this morning will take us back into the Tarangire National Park for a full day, in the hopes for a glimpse of some of its elusive predators and changing landscapes. We'll either stay the whole day here with a packed lunch provided, or head back to the lodge to enjoy a hot lunch and a swim in the pool. Save some room for our buffet dinner tonight.

Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti

After breakfast we'll set out in our safari vehicles to our next destination: the Serengeti. We take in views of the Rift valley and the rim of Ngorogoro Crater as we make our way to the main gate of the Serengeti, stopping off to visit Mto Wa Mbu Village and a local market. We'll drive through the endless plains of this vast reserve to reach our accommodation for the night. Tonights accommodation will be a safari-style lodge in the middle of the Serengeti. A buffet meal will be served for dinner, and you're free to sit outside and listen to the sounds of nocturnal animals waking up to forage or hunt, all while sitting under the bright canopy of stars in the African sky.

Sound of Silence Camp (or similar)

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 4: Serengeti

We'll spend a full day seeking out the game of Africa's plains, with predators in hot pursuit of their prey. If the wildebeest migration is around, then you are in for a wildlife treat: millions of wildebeest and zebra grazing for as far as the eye can see really is one of Africas' greatest spectacles to observe. If you want to make today even more unforgettable, you can opt in for a once-in-a-lifetime Balloon safari. A buffet dinner awaits us back at our safari camp.

Sound of Silence Camp (or similar)

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorogoro Crater

Enjoy some breakfast before we depart the Serengeti with a morning game drive on our way to our next destination, the Ngorogoro Crater. In the late morning we reach the Ngorogoro Crater, an ancient volcano, boasting one of the highest densities of predators stalking the abundant wildlife enclosed inside the volcano's centre. We'll stop here for a picnic lunch before we ascend the plateau. A true natural wonder, only found in Africa.

Eileen's Tree Inn (or similar)

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 6: Ngorogoro Crater to Arusha

It's our last day! (Sobs). But hey, there's still time for another eye-widening adventure. An optional excursion to ONE LAST National Park, Lake Manyara, to be precise. This place is famed for its tree-climbing lions, as well as a sweeping lake where plenty of the big 5 come to quench their thirst. One more game drive? We'd be mad not to. Take your final wildlife snaps and group selfies and try to remember what it feels like to breathe in the air of the African bush and feel the savannah sun beating on your back. We'll then head to the town of Arusha where our unforgettable African safari comes to an end. Don't forget to swap details and start planning your next adventure. Anyone for Asia?

Apart from going above and beyond they gave us an amazing tour of the south island of New Zealand! The weather gods were in our favour for October giving us alot of sunshine, barely any rain and alot of incredible views to take in! The adrenalin activities are far and wide for Queenstown and of course you enjoy many nights out! Overal a great little getaway! Worth noting there is a bit of driving through the south on the bus but worth it!

Our trip was planned well, but way to rushed I feel as though it should have went for longer. BUT the activity’s, tour guides, wildlife and the people you meet along the way made everything so worth the trip.

The trip was AMAZING! From the itinerary to the trip manager to the people and the amazing experiences. I couldn't fault a single thing about this trip. My only advice is to say yes to every single opportunity that presents itself to you, they mean when they say #noregrets!!!
