Short Description

From Sydney, Australia's largest and most famous city, to Perth, Western Australia's capital city, this tour through Australia is a once-in-a-lifetime vacation. You'll spend three nights each in Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth; two nights in Adelaide; and two nights aboard the historic Indian Pacific train traveling across Australia.

A highlight of this Australia tour is your train journey from Adelaide to Perth in Gold Service on the legendary Indian Pacific, one of the world's few truly transcontinental trains. On the world’s longest straight stretch of railway track, sit back, relax, and marvel at the changing landscapes as you travel through the Nullarbor Plain, offering a glimpse into Australia's remote region. Enjoy Dinner Under the Stars at a remote and beautiful outpost that borders a “small” sheep station of 2.5 million acres—a special experience Globus had included to make sure your Australia vacation is unique.

Other highlights of this Australia tour include an excursion to Kangaroo Island to see Australian sea lions, koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, and New Zealand fur seals in one of the world's last unspoiled habitats. In Adelaide, wander among kangaroos, wallabies, emus, and water birds at Cleland Wildlife Park. Explore Melbourne on a walking tour through the city's famous lanes and arcades—another unique experience Globus includes—and cruise on Sydney Harbour.

This Australia tour also includes free time in each city, so you can explore on your own. Just be sure to bring your camera to capture all the memories you’re sure to create.

Groups are between 25-60 people, typically ~30-40. Usually there will be many opportunities to split off and enjoy meals and excursions in smaller groups. This is the most economical way to travel, saving up to 40% versus booking the same itinerary yourself.

We had booked a trip in June of 2020 for spring of 2021. When they cancelled our trip we called and told them we would like our money back since that was an option, and it took about 6 weeks but our whole party (6) of us, received our money on each individual card we used. I’m surprised at all the people saying they can’t get their money back, we dealt with the company directly, the lady that booked our trip was very helpful. This would of been our 4th trip, and we always enjoy them.

DON'T USE GLOBUS OR TOUR RADAR - They will not return our Deposit

Our tour of Norway was booked in 2019. The trip was supposed to take place June - July 2020. Then Covid came.
We are from Australia and were heavily locked down from about March 2020. We wrote to the travel agent (TOUR RADAR) who have done little to help get our $700 deposit returned to us. In contrast we had all of our Air Fares returned by the airline we were going to use and had booked with directly (No travel Agent involved).
We were given a credit to use by June - July 2021. However, there is no way we will be able to travel to Norway at this time either because international travel (except to New Zealand) is not permitted by the Australian Government. Not that we would want to go anyway because of the high number of Covid cases in Europe and Scandinavia.
Tour Radar and Globus now say that we should extend the credit yet again to 2022. We are at a vulnerable age and by 2022 will most likely not be able to travel internationally again, even with Covid under control.
Decent companies have returned monies paid but Globus and Tour radar continue to refuse. They are stealing our money.
