Essential Greece: Athens, Mykonos & Santorini

Day 1 Welcome to Athens!

Arrive in the ancient city of Athens and enjoy a comfortable transfer to your luxurious hotel. At this point, your driver will provide you with all of your needed documentation and tickets for your trip.

After settling into your hotel, spend the rest of the day getting to know Athens on your own. Explore Plaka, the oldest district of Athens, located just under the famous Acropolis. Then, weave in and out of local shops on the bustling Ermou, Kolonaki, and Voukourestiou streets. 

Day 2 Athens

Enjoy an energizing breakfast, then embark on your included Athens Sightseeing Tour, including the amazing Acropolis and the New Acropolis Museum! Join your expert guide to the center of the city, then see the Panathenaic Stadium, the Temple of Athena Nike, the world-famous Parthenon, and much more.

Day 3 Athens - Mykonos

Recharge with an early morning breakfast, then set sail to picturesque Mykonos! Enjoy a scenic ferry ride across the bright blue sea, then enjoy a convenient transfer to your next hotel.

The rest of the day is yours! Relax on the island's beautiful beaches, or stroll through postcard-worthy whitewashed Cycladic architecture. Treat yourself to a delicious dinner of moussaka, pastitsio, or souvlaki!

Day 4 Mykonos

Soak up the spirit of Mykonos and enjoy a day at leisure on this breathtaking island. Wander through its whitewashed cubic houses, windmills, and chapels. Weave in and out of quaint shops, browse through interesting galleries, and unwind at charming cafes. 

Explore the town's winding narrow streets, and be sure to visit Paraportiani, one of the many churches on the Island. Enjoy a drink at Little Venice, then discover the island's incredible nightlife. 

Day 5 Mykonos - Santorini

After breakfast, hop on the ferry and wave goodbye to Mykonos as you float on to Santorini. Upon arrival in the stunning island of Santorini, enjoy a transfer to your hotel, then settle in and relax.

Spend the afternoon admiring the spectacular Caldera, created by the eruption of the island's volcano in ancient times. Take a walk into Fira and explore the island's vibrant capital. 

Day 6 Santorini

Wake up and get ready to explore this magical island! After breakfast, take a walk through the traditional village of Oia, the most photographed place in Greece! Be sure to come back to Oia later in the day, as it's famous for its unbeatable sunsets. Small white houses tier its hillside, interspersed by splashes of deep fuchsia, cobalt blue, oyster pink, and rich ocher.

It's a nightly tradition for residents and visitors to gather at the end of the village to watch the spectacular sunset. Chances are, you'll want to come back every night until you return home. 

Day 7 Santorini

Spend another day at leisure! You may want to visit the Prehistoric Museum in Fira, which hosts artifacts from the sites of Akrotiri and Ancient Thira, including famous wall paintings.

After a culture-packed morning, discover the colorful beaches that skirt the island, originally created by volcanic eruption. Treat yourself to fresh, local Mediterranean cuisine at one of the many cafes overlooking the Caldera as you feast your eyes on breathtaking views.

Day 8 Santorini - Athens

Say "see ya" to Santorini and enjoy a quick flight back to Athens. Upon arrival, relax in your airport hotel and enjoy your last night in Greece. Indulge in some authentic baklava and rest easy with peace of mind, knowing you're just steps from the airport. 

Day 9 Depart Greece

Squeeze all your souvenirs into your luggage, then make your way to the airport and board your plane. Spend your relaxing flight home scrolling through priceless photos and dreaming about your next adventure.
