This comprehensive Greek vacation experience will begin with two days in Athens, the birthplace of Socrates and Plato! An expert guide will take you on a tour of the city, where you’ll experience all of the “must-see” sights of this modern, yet ancient metropolis.
From there, you’ll hop on a high-speed ferry to the romantic island of Santorini, known for its spectacular Caldera with whitewashed houses perched on the edge, created by the eruption of the island’s volcano in the ancient times.
Your next island-hopping stop will be the beautiful island of Crete, where you will spend 3 nights. Crete is the largest island in Greece, where visitors can explore glorious beaches, impressive mountainscapes, and vast valleys with olive groves and vineyards. Spend days admiring the remnants of brilliant civilizations, and evenings sampling the island’s rich gastronomic culture.
Your last island adventure will take place on the island of Rhodes. At the crossroads of three continents, this medieval treasure has been beautifully preserved throughout the centuries. Admire the impeccable natural beauty, which features a great variety of landscapes, from endless beaches to traditional villages and historical monuments, in addition to a modern infrastructure with a cosmopolitan atmosphere.
Itinerary
Day 1 Welcome to Athens!
Upon arrival at Athens International Airport, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Take a walk over to Plaka, the oldest district of Athens, located under the Acropolis. This is the only district where visitors may see the Greek capital as it was 100 years ago!
Day 2 Athens
After breakfast, depart for your Athens sightseeing tour! You'll end your tour at the ancient Acropolis, where you can explore the remnants of the civilization of Ancient Greece. Spend the rest of your day at leisure; consider heading back to Syntagma Square in the evening for a bite of traditional Greek food, the square comes alive with lights and energy come nightfall.
Day 3 Athens - Santorini
After an early morning breakfast you’ll be transferred to the port of Athens for the ferry to Santorini. Upon arrival in Santorini, be transported to your hotel, where you can unwind and begin discovering this picturesque island! Take a stroll to the coast, where you can admire the spectacular Caldera with white-washed houses perched on the edge, created by the eruption of the island’s volcano in the ancient times.
Day 4 Santorini
Enjoy the splendors at your door or explore the volcanic island of Santorini – known worldwide as the most romantic island! Pay a visit to the traditional village of Oia, the most photographed place in Greece, best known for its breath-taking sunsets. Small white houses tier the hillside, interspersed by splashes of rich okra, deep fuchsia, cobalt blue, oyster pink and earthy red – making Oia a magical place. It’s a nightly tradition for residents and visitors to gather at the end of the village to watch the spectacular sunset – and chances are you’ll enjoy it so much, you’ll be back again the next night!
Day 5 Santorini
Spend another day exploring stunning Santorini. Discover ancient artifacts at the Prehistoric Museum in Fira or unwind at the breathtaking beaches of the island, whose colorful sands are the result of volcanic eruption. Or just pass the day at one of the many cafes overlooking the Caldera, dining on the fresh, local Mediterranean cuisine and taking in the amazing views!
Day 6 Santorini - Crete
After breakfast, enjoy another transfer to the port. It's time for your ferry to Crete, Greece's largest island! In Crete you'll find a wide variety of terrains waiting to be explored, from the picturesque white mountain ranges to the breathtaking beaches covered in fine sand.
Day 7 Crete
Today you have a full free day to enjoy Crete. Explore the renowned archaeological site of Knossos, one of the most important and best known palaces of Minoan civilization. Explorers beware: its history is connected with the myth of the Labyrinth and imprisoned Minotaur! You can also discover the secrets of Ancient Greece at the Archaeological Museum or explore remnants of its Byzantine and Venetian past - from Turkish bathhouses to Renaissance mansions!
Day 8 Crete
Enjoy another day at leisure in Crete. Why not spend the day at the island's famous pink beach? Or perhaps make a visit to the island of Spinalonga, as it is the most popular archaeological site in Crete after Knossos. In the evening, you may want to head to Agios Nikolaos and experience its bustling nightlife.
Day 9 Crete - Rhodes
After breakfast, be transferred to Heraklion airport for your flight to Rhodes. Upon arrival on the Island of Rhodes, you'll be transferred to your hotel for check-in. Treat yourself to sweeping views of Lindos Bay by hiking up to the top of Lindos' Acropolis; the hike is steep, so those looking for a more relaxing experience may want to hire a donkey to take them up to the top.
Day 10 Rhodes
Today you have a full, free day to explore the island of Rhodes on your own. Wander around its magnificent Old City, surrounded by medieval walls with seven gates. Take a stroll along the medieval Street of the Knights, then admire the castle-like Palace of the Grand Master, the most awe-inspiring building on the whole island.
Day 11 Rhodes - Athens
Enjoy your breakfast, then be transferred to the airport for your flight to Athens. Upon arrival in Athens, make your way to your hotel for your last night in Greece. Tonight, indulge in a meal sampling all of the flavors of the country! Snack on cheese from feta to manouri, devour gyros, taste locally-pressed olive oil, and of course, wash it all down with a shot of Greece's famous ouzo.
Day 12 Depart Greece
Make your way to the airport in accordance with your flight home.

Wasn’t a great experience or Great Value
Booking travel deals online can be hectic because you don’t have a direct contact person. You call a 800- number if there is a issue and you get who you get.
I had an issue with my PNR number not working when it was time to
Check in for the plane and because it took me almost 2 hours when I finally got checked in, we were the last seats on the very back of the airplane. Well you deal with it because you’re going to Hawaii.. just happy to have a seat.it was frustrating calling the airlines and I was directed back to Great Value ..
We got that issue resolved.
Now we get to the hotel and was told the daily resort fee was double the amount that we were quoted.
The quote we were given verbally over the phone was $29.98 and when we got to the resort it was 59.98 . It wasn’t a issue with the price , it’s the inconsistency of getting the correct info when you call and it’s not explained thoroughly in the paper work, and hotels aren’t to kind when you book thru 3rd party contracts. It appears everything is a good price but you are on the bottom of the totem pole for everything .. plane rides .. very last group and seat , back of the hotel airport bag fees.. not so sure this was a great value and no one cares after they get your money . I’m still waiting for a Manager to call me back and my vacation is over
