Day 2 : HANOI TO HALONG BAYD

Drive from Hanoi to Halong City, the gateway to Halong Bay. Board your private junk boat and begin exploring the magnificent bay which boasts over 3,000 islands.Cruise: Overnight boat (or similar)

Day 3 : HALONG BAY TO HANOIC

Continue your Halong Bay cruise before returning to Hanoi. Stroll through the backstreets of the Old Quarter sampling delicious local snacks and drinking beer local-style at a ‘Bia Hoi’ establishment.Hotel: Tirant Hotel (or similar)

Day 4 : HANOI TO HOI AND

Discover a few of Hanoi’s highlights including Ho Chi Minh Quarter, House on Stilts, Presidential Palace and One Pillar Pagoda. Fly to Danang and drive to historic Hoi An.Hotel: Hoi An Historic Hotel (or similar)

Day 5 : HOI AN CITY TOURE

Explore the historic centre of town on a walking tour and visit an old merchant house, a Chinese assembly hall and the famous Japanese Covered Bridge. Day 6 : HOI AN TO SAIGONE

Enjoy more free time in Hoi An before flying to Saigon. Relax with a sunset drink at a rooftop bar favoured by our guides.Hotel: Norfolk Hotel Saigon (or similar)

Day 7 : CU CHI TUNNELS&

 Drive to Cu Chi and gain a unique insight into the incredible network of underground tunnels that formed part of the Viet Cong’s successful strategy in the Vietnam War. Day 8 : MEKONG DELTAT

Travel south from Saigon to the Mekong Delta, famously known as the ‘rice bowl’ of Vietnam. Board your boat, the Mekong Eyes to begin your exploration of the area, cruising along tributaries of the mighty Mekong. After a delicious lunch on board, explore some of the canals, take a guided walk through a rural village and gain a real insight into the lives of the local people.Cruise: Mekong Explorer (or similar)

Day 9 : MEKONG DELTAE

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast on board before continuing your exploration of the region. Experience the unique rowing techniques of a circular sampan boat as you traverse your way along some of the smaller canals. Visit a coconut candy enterprise and cycle through the back alleys of a local village before returning to your boat for sunset drinks on the deck.Cruise: Mekong Explorer (or similar)

Day 10 : MEKONG DELTAV

Visit Tan Thuan Dong islet where you can either take a walk, or cycle through this beautiful area. Enjoy lunch on board and free time to simply relax as you continue to enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area.Cruise: Mekong Explorer (or similar)

Day 11 : TAN CHAU TO PHNOM PENH (CAMBODIA)C

Cross the border from Vietnam into Cambodia and travel by speedboat to Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s capital. Begin your exploration of the city with visits to S21 Museum of Genocidal Crime and the Killing Fields of Choeng Ek which highlight the incredible resilience of the people.Hotel: Frangipani Royal Palace Hotel (or similar)

Day 12 : PHNOM PENH TO SIEM REAPT

Take a morning cyclo ride through the backstreets of Phnom Penh taking in some the city’s most prominent and well-known sites including the grand post office and the Independence Monument. Discover the Royal Palace and its famous landmark, the Silver Pagoda which houses a ‘Golden Buddha’ encrusted with more than 9,000 diamonds and a revered ‘Emerald Buddha’. Fly to Siem Reap, gateway to the incredible temples of Angkor.Hotel: Somadevi Angkor Resort and Spa (or similar)

Day 13 : TEMPLES OF ANGKORA

pre-dawn tuk-tuk ride takes you to Angkor Wat’s seldom-used East Gate entrance. Marvel at the silhouetted central spires and explore the temple grounds. After witnessing a memorable sunrise over Angkor Wat and exploring the temple in depth, travel to the Angkor Thom complex and see the stone head sculptures of Bayon temple.
