Greece's ancient history meets laid-back island life on this voyage from Athens and the glamorous islands of Mykonos and Santorini to Kusadasi. Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Athens (2 Nights)
Welcome to a land of myths and legends. Your springboard to an intoxicating holiday in the Aegean is vibrant Athens. Spend the day exploring after being transferred to your hotel.
Day 2: Athens Sightseeing
Join a Local Specialist today for a journey into antiquity. Visit the Acropolis to see Athena's Parthenon and admire the march of the Evzone guards at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Spend the afternoon at your leisure exploring the labyrinthine lanes of Plaka. Buffet Breakfast
Day 3: Athens – Embark
A full day to delve into what was once the Cradle of Western Civilisation. See the city's ancient sites before boarding your cruise ship this evening to the Cyclades. Buffet Breakfast, Dinner
Day 4: Mykonos
The characteristic windmills of idyllic Mykonos greet us this morning as we look forward to a day exploring the cobbled maze of lanes on this charming island. Stroll past the white-washed cottages and tumbling cerise bougainvillea in search of hidden treasures, or simply relax on a sparkling beach. Buffet Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 5: Mykonos – Milos – At Sea
Spend time in the former home of the famous Venus de Milo to indulge in the mouth-watering watermelon pies of Milos island and soak up the glorious sunshine in the turquoise waters of one of its many beaches. Buffet Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 6: Santorini
Indulge in the laid-back island life of Santorini for the next two days. Enjoy a Complimentary Shore Experience to the sun-kissed clifftop village of Oia meandering past charming villages and vineyards set against the backdrop of Santorini's magnificent caldera. Day 7: Santorini
Enjoy another full day at leisure on Santorini to explore further or sit back and watch the spellbinding allure of the Aegean unfold. Buffet Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 8: Santorini – Heraklion – At Sea
We sail to the island of Crete this morning and spend the afternoon exploring Heraklion - its fascinating late Bronze Age heritage is on full display at the Palace of Knossos which you may choose to explore on an Optional Experience. Buffet Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 9: Kusadasi (Turkey) or Samos (Greece) – At Sea
Your choice of sightseeing could see you stop in the Turkish port city of Kusadasi for a Complimentary Shore Experience to Ephesus or visit the Greek island of Samos, renowned for its viticulture. Buffet Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 10: Disembark – Athens
This morning, disembark in Athens and transfer to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day as you please. Buffet Breakfast
Day 11: Depart Athens
Say goodbye to your travelling companions at the end of a memorable holiday. Transfer to the airport for your flight home.

Best of Italy Tour for 13 days, really 11 days. Recommendation: Do NOT take a Trafalgar Tour of any kind!
1) Could ONLY understand about 10 % of the travel director's harangue. Her name was Frederica. The same situation occurred in Egypt.
2) The bus driver named Theo was surly and rude.
3) The Travel Director constantly sold the extra excursions. These were 2.5 times more expensive then privately-made tours. Example in Rome--Crown Tours.
4) The food was terrible.
5) The hotels were at best 2-3 star. NO AC, low water pressure, and the breakfasts were poor.
6) Many hours were spent most days on the bus--4-8 hours. There were 49 passengers on this bus! You could not relax on the bus because the tour director constantly was speaking and selling optional excursions. Again, could not understand but 10 % of what she said.
7) We pre-paid gratuities, but wished that we had not done so. Neither the driver nor Travel Director thanked us. We will not prepay again, however, we will NEVER take another Trafalgar Tour.
