What else does a scrappy start up do for a team outing but take to the class 4 rapids along the American River?
Our summer outing in 2017 visited the same river, and the thrill was enough to entice us again (check out the 2017 video!).
The picturesque Middle Fork portion of the American River, just outside Sacramento in Northern California, is the perfect whitewater rafting destination for those who are new to the sport as well as seasoned rafters.
Our route covered everything from easy class 1-2 to the more challenging class 3-4 - including the infamous “Tunnel Chute” which would count as a class 5 if it had one more rapid at the end.
The journey was exciting! We had some capsizes and overboards, and there is a very fashionable fish somewhere wearing our CEOs sunglasses.
All exhilarating fun for a day out on the river!
