Aer Lingus Vacation Store

We had a great trip but we did have a few issues. 1) Our first hotel, the Northstar, was billed as a 4 star hotel. However, our room seemed more like a 2 star room. It was noisy all night long. The room was next to the main door to the hotel which banged and shook our bed all night long. We could hear every conversation of every person coming or going from the hotel. In addition, their was construction on the building directly outside our room that started at 7am. The room was also not very clean - bathroom had mold. When we discussed this with the hotel, we were moved to an upgraded room on the 7th floor for our last night. This room was what we expected from a 4 star hotel. 2) We were supposed to have a driver for 8 hours one day of our trip. Two days in advance, I called the number provided to us, asked for the driver to pick us up at 10am and discussed where we would like to go for the day. On the appointed day, the driver did not show up on time. I called the number again and they said that they had not sent a driver and couldn't find our reservation. After this call, they did send a driver who was wonderful once he arrived, however, we spent over an hour waiting in the hotel lobby to be picked up.

Our Ireland trip to the west of Ireland was an experience of a lifetime.  We took advantage of an incredible deal from Aer Lingus Vacation Store staying at Adare Villas on the west of Ireland which included airfare and car. The company couldn't have been more helpful answering all our questions leading up to the trip.  Traveling with kids can be a challenge but Aer Lingus Airline could not have been better and the stay in the Adare Villas was incredible with so much space and great base to travel around. Would definitely use them again and can't wait to return already

Wonderful experience from start to finish!

I had a wonderful experience from the minute I contacted Aer Lingus Vacation Stores.  Carmen Vinuesa planned my trip for me and my family. The hotels and transport services were top notch!  I would definitely reccomend ALVS and if I am every lucky enough to take a trip like this again I will be calling Carmen back.

The trip to Ireland was fantastic! The hotels were
first rate with clean and comfortable rooms. The flights were on time, comfortable and efficiently operated. Our rental car was very fuel efficient and comfortable for four people and their luggage. We could not be more pleased with our first trip to this beautiful country!

Had a marvelous tour of Ireland that satisfied everyone in our party. The rental car was comfortable for four and allowed us freedom to explore. Visited several 4 star B&amp;Bs, each with wonderful hosts, great accommodations, and great breakfasts with variety of foods. Attractions outside of Dublin were well worth the travel.

Excellent resource to set up self-drive tour of Ireland.

Trip was great. No problems anywhere we went.

On our direct flight to Ireland ALL flight attendant's  crew did not care about customer service or doing the job they were hired to do. I got my first drink 4 hours into the flight as they would skip 4-5 rows at a time and then offer that row beverages,  skip more rows etc. When snacks were being passed , attendant went past us about three rows and then continued ignoring all of us in that section and continued on, so about 14 customers did not get their snacks. BTW People were NOT asleep. My 11 yr old daughter who has travelled the world said, it's incredible how much these employees hate their jobs, they do not care. They look so unhappy and bothered. 

I finally got up and went to the back to get water for my daughter and I and asked for a snack. She handed it to me, with the expression, u are bothering me. Worst flight attendants crew EVER. Sometimes you'll encounter one unhappy one but unfortunately for us the whole staff was that way. 
Clearly they ignored the multitude of attendants lights that were on, as passengers were disgusted with the lack of normal service. Just horrible. 

On our return flight to NYC I Made sure I had food and beverages for us based on our previous experience with Aer Lingus,  the crew was stellar on this flight, clearly they enjoyed their jobs, very professional and courteous.  Good representation to the airline.  

The rows are very narrow so if you can upgrade to more legroom I highly recommend it. We changed ours on our return flight, much better. Also, the airline provides you with a toiletry plastic bag with socks, earphones, toothpaste and brush nice touch. 

I can only give  2 star rating, even though our flight crew home was outstanding. because the first crew was seriously the worst, it left us speechless.

Because I bought tickets through the AerLingus Vacation Store, I could not check itinerary nor check in with just plain Are Lingus which made things very difficult at times.  The airlines themselves did not recognize reservation numbers so we had to find original paperwork for the vacation store in US as while as abroad.
