Madagascar tours are generally fairly active. You’ll be outside a lot, hiking, cycling, and nature walks are a key component of traveling in Madagascar. Most positive reviews for Madagascar comment on their tour guides expert knowledge, humor, enthusiasm, and ability to help travelers spot Madagascar's many unique species.
While Madagascar is small, this also means that some itineraries will try to pack a lot in to each trip. This can mean you’re on a bus for extended periods of time as you travel from one destination to another.
