I helped my son book an all inclusive vacation to Cancun and when he got there they had NO record for his reservation so he had NO room. Luckily we had a couch in our room so he ended up stay in our room. As soon as we got back we called and emailed them and all they are offering him is a credit for half the cost with Apple. WHY WOULD WE EVER BOOK WITH THEM AGAIN? THIS CREDIT WILL NEVER GET USED CAUSE I WOULD NEVER TRUST THEM. SO DISSATIFIED WITH THIS COMPANY. So glad I was there with my son and he wasn't by himself in another country with no hotel reservations. Suck bullshit!

To whom it may concern,
We are extremely disappointed in our recent trip/experiences for multiple reasons.
Let me start by saying that we were scheduled to depart on 2/12/23 @ 6:30am. When we arrived at our departure terminal we were told that “Swift Air” had an issue the previous day any wasn’t going to make it. Yet no one was notified of this delay. We then boarded a replacement plane, sat on that plane for about an hour but “Swift Air” never transferred a permit. We had to deboard the plane. We were given a $15 voucher while things were worked out. That $15 voucher didn’t event cover a meal at the airport! 2 hours later we were told that we would depart at 4pm however we never left the terminal until after 6:26pm. That was approximately 14 hours we sat in the airport.. During that time I contacted Apple Vacations twice, I was reassured we would have a shuttle when we arrived in Cancun. We get through customs, my husband’s luggage was lost and there was NO shuttle available. Let me also say this was our 1st time out of the country, scared to death cuz we had no idea where we were going and now had to get in a Taxi with someone was not hired to transport us and the paid $120!
This was a 20th Anniversary trip and we were scheduled to “Renew our wedding vows on Tuesday February 14th, Valentine’s Day”. Well yet another disappointment because we still didn’t have the lost luggage which had our clothing, flowers for ceremony, make up and many other personal items.
The luggage did finally arrived late Tuesday, late as in 10pm!
Not only was our trip cut short, we basic lost two days.
Oh wait there is more, the way home “Swift Air” delayed at least 90 minutes BUT one of our checked bags was opened and personal items were stolen from the luggage.
Yes I filed a claim with the travel claims, yes Apple gave us a $200 voucher per person and a $570 refund. Unfortunately this doesn’t make up for the time lost, the rescheduling of ceremony vows and the items that were stolen. The resort we stayed at is more than $570 a night also let’s consider the taxi fees we had to pay because we had no shuttle.

The way that Apple Vacations and Swift Air handled these situations were absolutely horrible and we are honestly hesitant to rebook any future trips.

I doubt that anything will change with this email but I felt that someone should hear our story.

Thank you for reading-
~ Jodi

NEVER EVER book your vacation through Apple. You’d be better off booking it all by yourself considering the amount of help they offer which is ZERO. My friends and I booked a group trip to Mexico for our friend’s wedding and we had an absolute nightmare experience with this travel agency. Our flights were cancelled and moved around due to bad weather in our connecting city and Apple vacations was completely USELESS in the rebooking process. We had to do everything ourselves. We had to pay for our own hotel rooms when our flight got cancelled. We had to pay additional money for a shuttle, ferry, and taxi when we had to fly into mainland Cancun instead of the island Cozumel. And we had to organize it all ourselves. Our vacation, once we finally got there after 30 hours of travel, was not even relaxing because we were on the phone CONSTANTLY trying to get apple to refund us for the days of our trip we missed, all the extra transportation, and get them to extend our trip an extra day to make up for the days missed. No help whatsoever. We had to do everything ourselves. The resort, airlines, and transport services said they couldn’t help us with anything because we booked through Apple and Apple had to make changes. But when we tried to talk to Apple they never answered half the time because they are open BANKING HOURS 9-5 WEEKDAYS??? When MOST people travel on the weekends! Ridiculous! When we finally got a hold of them they told us they couldn’t do anything and we had to contact the hotels, airlines, etc. Individually. It was back and forth like this for three days. By the time our vacation was almost over we finally got our trip extended NO thanks to Apple AT ALL. We did everything ourselves. And now we still have to file a bunch of insurance claims to try to get our money back from all the cancelled flights and extra transport costs to get there. I will NEVER use Apple Vacations to book my trip again. It was the worst travel experience I’ve ever had in my life. To think all this could have been avoided if they would have let us reschedule our flight in advance when we saw the weather coming. But that was on a Sunday and they aren’t open on the weekends! Every time we tried to call about a new flight they would be closed and wouldn’t open until 9 the next business day! That’s when our new flight left!!! I just can’t believe a company who claims to be a travel agency would be this utterly useless at organizing vacations and would be closed in the evenings and on the weekends! It makes me furious. And thanks to their total lack of involvement in the vacation that THEY got a percentage of for our booking, we had to rearrange EVERYTHING ourselves while we were trying to relax on the beach that we paid $3000+ for!! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY EVER EVER EVER! I will happily post this review on any site that allows me. No one deserves to have their vacation ruined the way we did!!

Stayed at PH in Playa Mujeres. Resort was good but Apple sold us a $500 resort credit which was just a coupon book that the resort gives to everyone. Stay away from Apple vacations. When we asked Apple about it they played dumb. “What did your travel agent say”. We were like bitch you are our travel agent we booked it through you. Again the resort and staff were very accommodating. Apple just sux. Had similar issues with transportation a few years back from the Beloved with Apple. Same response. They sell shit. Modern day wolf of Cancun shit. 1 star is for Apple not the resort.

Travel agent booked out 30th anniversary through Apple Vacations. Everything the travel agent did was spectacular without exception. Apple's delivery on their part...not so much. They did arrange travel to the hotel from the airport and that is where they stopped. No recognition of our anniversary, no contact by any representatives once we were at the hotel, and we had to have the hotel Concierge call and arrange for our transportation to the airport for departure. Not sure what was wrong, but we literally had no contact with Apple during our entire stay. This is not how it usually goes. Usually there is a get together, a luncheon, maybe a bottle of rum sent to our room, but this time, nothing!

Please improve your services.
I used to travel with Apple Vacation many times, and I never had any issues; however, this time our flight has been changed and we did not receive any notification from Apple Vacation ( we just checkedit online by ourselves). The transportation from and to the airport was included and paid, but somehow once we arrived in Cancun our group was not on the Amstar list. Even though we had proof of paid transportation, it was not provided.. We had to pay 2nd time for transportation. No words from Apple Vacation about reimbursement, about compensation for our inconvenience and questionable safety. Also, do not expect that you will receive paid champagne and other inclusions in the room without asking multiple times the customer service representatives.
In addition, Apple Vacation representatives never looked for us in the hotel. Yes, we arrived late in the afternoon, but the next day nobody contacted us, so we had to look for them. And the very first question was what excursions we are interested in. Nothing about transportation back to the airport.
Also, we requested some rooms with 1bed and with 2beds. Once we arrived, we were told, no requests had been made.
Please be aware APPLE VACATION doesn't offer the best quality service anymore.

i purchased travel insurance (for a room at a resort) for a wedding 2 years ago. i purchased in case "i" needed to cancel due to unexpected medical reasons. wedding was cancelled and they did not give me back the insurance. how would i not get back something i didn't even use or cancel myself? i purchased this directly from an agent and company that was used directly from the bride and groom. there is no policy or clear cut understanding of such, i wouldn't have gotten it if that was the case. they offered to have me for credit or if i book again. this was from covid time so i obviously didn't use it. fast forward to today, same agent and same company being used for a wedding and i requested to use my money from back then. they would not honor it because it was now used to get my deposit back?? so .... you weren't going to give me my money back, regardless if it happened or not? i'm not the one who cancelled to go - the whole event that was booked through the company was cancelled. and now you don't want to give me any credit. hotels give you back your money and offer free cancellation. so what's the deal here. i hate sales like this. bad business and creates excuses to fit their needs. BS. i will not use again after and listen to other reviews. look elsewhere.

Had an allegedly wonderful Christmas trip to Vegas set up with the family. A few weeks before the trip my father's health began to fade. We had to cancel the trip. The apple vacations representative told us that the travel credits and vouchers were fully transferable to anyone on the original booking. However when we went to transfer the credits to the one family member that had the ability to travel they said only the persons portion of the voucher could be redeemed and that only the original people on The trip could use Said credits. Meaning less than a quarter of the 3 grand was redeemable. We tried to explain that the trip was canceled due to my fathers failing health and they gave no concern. It was ended with not even a sorry just a, "that is not possible.". Do not ever uses this crummy company. They put their profits before even a hint of positive customer service. They have no heart and their empathy is that of a robot. I hope the currently beginning recession kills them off so they can't extract any more money from good and honest people like my family.

I used Apple Vacations for years and was always satisfied. Unfortunately I will not use them again. We booked an all-inclusive to Punta Cana and purchased Travel Protection Plus which reimburses for travel delays and trip interruption up to the full amount. Our flight was scheduled to arrive in Punta
Cana at 1:30 pm. It was delayed throughout the day until it was canceled and rescheduled for 10:30 am the next day. The flight finally departed at 7:30 pm putting us in Punta Cana at 1 am. Now we have lost 2 days. I called Apple Vacations several times both days to inform them of the situation and to contact the resort. Now it is 2am when we reach the resort and the resort has us marked as a no show. They did find us a room at 3am. The next morning I spoke with the Apple Vacations representative at the resort she gave me a phone number to call. That's it no other help. I called the number and was told I had to file a claim. The online claim process was long and very involved. I waited 30 days and contacted the claim company to find out they needed further documentation. What further documentation. The flight was delayed and our vacation was interrupted. I tried contacting the claim office and was told to send further documentation. I contacted Apple Vacations and was told nothing could be done on their part.

False Advertising Lead to Awful Vacation August 2022

My husband and I recently took a trip to Cancun, booked through Apple Vacations. The resort we visited was one that Apple Vacations advertises on their website. The resort was awful from the moment we stepped foot on the property. Nothing was as advertised (resort amenities and features, upgrades, etc.) The resort was in complete disrepair (the air conditioning didn't even work). We paid extra for upgrades that were actually standard (ocean front) and for some upgrades that didn't even exist (preferred club status, which was supposed to give access to a members only pool and several other amenities the resort didn't even have). We contacted Apple Vacations upon our return, detailing the issues and the extend to which we were mislead due to their advertising and promotion of the resort. It took them over a month to respond with a "Sorry it wasn't what you expected" and they'll give us a credit for $150/person, but it has to be used within a year. Our trip cost over $4,000.

In short, DO NOT trust your vacation to Apple Vacations. There is a high likelihood you will be mislead and defrauded and end up paying a lot of money for a bad experience.

I booked many all-inclusive trips through Apple Vacations for eight years. Always happy with the company and always recommended it to friends and family. Also posted many reviews. Unfortunately, I am now posting this review to warn travelers to be aware of Apple Vacations. Our recent booking this past June was not pleasant and Apple Vacations will not offer any compensation. Our flight, scheduled to depart at 12:40 am was delayed five times before cancelled and rebooked the following day. Throughout the day I contacted Apple Vacations to notify them of this so the resort would be aware. The following day, once again, scheduled to depart at 10:30 am, delayed seven times finally departing at 7:30pm. Once again I contacted Apple Vacations of the situation. We landed at our destination at 1:00 am, two days late, arrived at the resort at 2:00 am to be told our reservation was marked "No-Show" Apple told us that the resort would not compensate the lost days, so they could do nothing. Wait, we purchased Travel Protection Plus which covers this. I was told to file a claim with Trip Mate, which I did and after filing out the lengthy forms and waiting thirty-five days was told, not directly by email but found out because I kept checking the status that our claim was denied, but I could submit additional documentation and they would review it again. WHAT ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTATION, The Travel Protection Plus clearly stated it covered what happened. I am done with Apple Vacations.

We booked a vacation with Apple Vacations to have the security of assistance if need be while traveling- the feeling of a safety net. When we arrived at the airport after getting no alerts to find that our flight had been canceled, I tried, to no avail, to reach a representative. (the alert said I would be on hold for 25 minutes- I hung up after 2hrs)

I handled to rebooking of flights on my own- no help from our travel agent. I realized then however that I was concerned about our shuttle to and from the airport. New flights meant we would be landing at a later time So I emailed Apple (because we would be on a flight and then, in a foreign country and I wasn't sure how my phone would work for calls....) I explained the situation & asked for assurance we would have a ride to the hotel. I kept getting a canned response saying someone would be in touch with me.

We made it to the hotel with no help from our travel agent. When we arrived I spoke to the Apple rep who works at the resort- he said they said they had been in touch with me. (they hadn't been) He agreed to escalate.

4 DAYS LATER they emailed me and basically said "looks like you figured it out and made it to the resort" I responded stating how horrified I was at the urgency the during travel team felt to ensure their customers were safe and comfortable. They responded to a person with a different name than mine, thanking them for emailing Cheap Carribean Vacations. ????

To this day, no response, no apologies, no attempt at resolution. We will NEVER use Apple Vacations again & I will make sure anyone I know knows how terribly the customer service experience with them was.

WHAT IS THE POINT of travel assistance if they offer none?

Apple Vacations has been a horrendous experience. We booked a trip to Punta Cana in December of 2019 for March 2020. When the pandemic forced us to cancel, we rebooked 4 times in total (due to the pandemic/airlines and hotels canceling us). We finally booked domestic because of the COVID restrictions. In total we have spent over 50 hours on hold/calling/rescheduling/dealing with agents that have no clue what they are doing. AND they refuse to refund us, give us credit, or rebook. You cannot get ahold of any single person who can help you. I used a different travel company for a trip for 8 people and it was smooth sailing. Whatever you do, DO NOT waste your time and Money with this company.

Canceled a trip in November 2020 due to Covid restrictions and travel into Mexico was too risky at the time, and I still haven’t received my refund. At the time of my vacation purchase (September 2020), I purchased vacation insurance that stated I would get 100% of my vacation fees returned (minus the $179.97 it cost for the insurance), within 90-days of my cancellation. Still haven't received my money.

I then filed a dispute with the credit card company and the travel agency/travel insurance claimed there was no cancellation per policy received, which is not true, and the credit card company reversed the charge. That's what the vacation insurance was for. It's a vicious circle!

I have proof of policy, proof that I purchased the extra insurance to get a 100% refund, and nothing. I have been honest, transparent, and have done my due diligence, yet, I’m still out $3,500 plus interest.

I have attempted to call Apple Vacations dozens of times and I speak to no one or get shuffled around to various customer specialists that can’t solve the problem. Or, I get hung up on. I have waited as long as 2 hours on hold to speak to a customer dispute specialist, with no luck, as their main customer service line has a typical speech stating they don't handle these sorts of cases and end up transferring me in a cirlce where no one is able to help. They don’t return emails either, as I have emailed many times and no response back.

What’s worse is the travel company, Apple Vacations now says there is no transaction available to use paid funds towards another trip. They stole my money and the credit card company has allowed them to get away with it.

This company is unethical, unreliable, and stealing from customers. I hope a class action lawsuit is opened against this horrific company as it's slime balls like this that make the world a sad place.
