Excellent pre-tour experience with the in-office being so knowledgeable and professional, and excellent on-tour experience with top quality tour directors - it's the complete package. Travelled back-to-back years now with Go Ahead on two European tours - fantastic experiences!

I was blessed to experience Grand Tour of Italy just a few weeks ago. It was the most amazing time of my life. I am already planning my next trip. The tour guide, the bus driver, the group, the hotels, the tours, the provided meals, the total experience was better than I could ever have expected. I never felt unsafe in my travels. I would recommend Go Ahead to anyone. Thank you, again!

Went on the America the Beautiful tour in September which started and ended in Denver. It was such an amazing trip in terms of sights and people. We went to national parks such as Yellowstone where saw bison and elk, Arches with beautiful rock formations, and Mount Rushmore. We travel 6 states and over 2600 miles in 12 days. Our tour director, Stevyn Polk, was so informative ,knowledgeable and with a good sense of humor that I and my fellow travelers all are hoping to travel with him again. My fellow travelers bonded during our experience and when I left, felt that I left family. All of which I would love to see and share experiences with again.

The Go Ahead team took such good care of us throughout the trip. Always on time, total comfortable, great recommendations on our free days. The included and optional side excursions they planned were fabulous. It was a true vacation to be able to sit back and just enjoy. Food and wine - excellent. Can't wait for my upcoming trip to experience Ireland with them.

My first tour alone to Europe. I had many apprehensions as a solo traveler. Once I arrived in Barcelona my tour guide was waiting. It was a piece of cake from there. Gracia Gonzalez de Rio made the tour a most memorable experience. A Food and Wine: A Taste of Spain, is a must for wine spectators. Art, culture, history, food and wine...what a delightful and educational experience. I cannot wait to plan my next tour! Thank you GoAhead Tours and Senora Gracia Gonzalez de Rio.

My tour with Go Ahead Tours to London & Paris was incredible. I learned NOT to believe what I read on the internet. The two hotels were very good, 4 Star hotels. People complained about the hole-in-the-wall hotels, where they could not even turn around, without hitting something, was absolutely NOT TRUE! I believe Go Ahead may have heeded the complaints and upgraded their hotels. I stayed at a Marriott, in London and a Mercure Hotel, in Paris. Both were very good chain hotels, with clean, spacious rooms, located near a metro or subway stop. Service was excellent and the free breakfast was very good. The neighborhoods were safe and near restaurants.
Our Tour Director, Alfredo, was excellent. The bus was spacious, comfortable and fairly
new. The AC worked fine. Our city tour guides were excellent, witty & knowledgeable. Our tour director took us on special walking tours, on his own time and it saved us the problem of seeing some attractions, on our own. He showed us how to use the Metro or subways, during this side tour.
The included city tours were excellent. We left at 9:00 and they showed us all the important sights in the city. The tour ended around noon and we were given the choice of staying , near the places of interest or going back to the hotel.The optional excursions were excellent and the tour guides were very knowledgeable. They were friendly, kind and willing to make the tour enjoyable. Our Optional tour to Stonehenge was too short. The tour to Versailles was very nice and our tour guide Terri was excellent.
I tipped the guides according to how wonderful they did their jobs..
I was nervous about the trip and it turned out to be a wonderful vacation. Anne M. was my contact at Go Ahead and she was a tremendous help to me & my family. She would always return my calls or emails.

I purchased Paris: The City Experience on a whim one weekend not knowing what to expect. It was my first time traveling to Europe and going to a country where I do not speak the language. I chose Go Ahead based on their ratings, reviews, and prices. They did not disappoint. They took care of all the transportation details, even when my outgoing flight from Tampa to Dallas was cancelled, rerouted, and sent through Charlotte and London 5 hours later!

Paris is a beautiful city full of history, culture, and amazing food. This trip was the perfect blend of guided tours and free time. Patrick was our Tour Director for the week, and there aren't enough words to describe how amazing he was! He was always available for questions, directions, and advice on where to visit/dine. He also coordinated additional walking tours including a tutorial on how to navigate the Paris Metro system. The amount of knowledge regarding French History and culture that both he and Brian (Tour Guide for Bus Tour and Versailles) possess is inspiring.

Our flight was late leaving San Diego so we missed our flight connection in Salt Lake City. Go Ahead claims they will "take care" of you if something like this happens...THEY DO NOT!. I had to deal with Delta to go standby on a later flight. We were then told by Go Ahead we would have to FIND and PAY for our own transportation from arrival destination to the hotel which was 60 miles. Next day I recognized a person on our tour who was on the same flight we flew standby and they had a DRIVER WAITING...As we were taking off I'm on the phone to the 3rd different person telling them what flight we were on and they couldn't figure out they had another tour client on the same flight!!Go Ahead has a problem dealing with travel plans when they don't go as planned...and they also don't communicate with each other!!!!!

We just returned from the Jewels of Alpine Europe. Amazing. Beautiful scenery, great food, wonderful tour director (Jurgen) just a beautiful trip. If you love mountains (The Alps) this is the trip for you.This was my 6th trip with Go Ahead and I have just booked my 7th trip for next year.
Being said, I am a member of GoAhead's World Traveler Club. So, according to the catalog, since I have "six prior trips" I should have achieved Platinum status which entitles you to a higher discount and upgraded travel insurance. However, today I was told that although the catalog clearly states "six prior trips" I have to complete next years trip #7 before I am eligible for Platinum status-technically starting with trip #8. Many of you are repeat GoAhead travelers so I just wanted to share this information. All my trips were wonderful but this policy is misleading and deceitful.

We did an "amazing" walking tour of the Amalfi Coast on 9/25/2014. From fabulous scenery at every turn, meeting new friends, finding success on the many mountain walks, eating the best food in the world & having the expertise of wonderful tour (Antonio) & local city guides, I once again say, thanks Go Ahead Tours for an unbelievable experience!!

We've done numerous tours through Go Ahead and have always been very happy! We would have never done this trip on our own. Leaving the driving to someone else takes away a lot of the stress of traveling! Enjoyable all the way around!!

My sisters and I went on the tour of Castles in Scotland in mid July. This was an incredible experience. Our Guide Shona was funny and personable. She brought music and her love of her native country to us all. I highly recommend this tour. Andi Pisacano

We just got back from the London/Paris tour. It was the perfect blend of excursions and free time! Tour director was wonderful and so much fun. Guides for the panoramic tours of each city were knowledgeable. Hotel in Paris had wonderful location. London nice hotel, but the location could have been a little better for us. We had a great experience with Go Ahead and our first time in Europe was wonderful!!! I would recommend anytime and will be taking another trip asap.

Just returned from the Grand Tour of Spain... incredible! Rafael Lugo was amazing... leader extraordinaire!... went out of his way to buy us iced water twice in Morroco... shared a wealth of knowledge... his enthusiasm was contagious. I highly recommend this tour!

Just completed the Greek Island Tour, had a wonderful time in Athens and three of the Islands. Breathtaking scenery and the most friendly and hospitable Greek people! Roberto the Tour Director was excellent, every day was sunny and hot. My only complaint is that the days seemed to fly by...
