Arrive in Lima, Peru, where you are met and privately transferred to your hotel. The remainder of your day is at leisure.
Fly to Iquitos, and then journey overland into the Peruvian countryside to remote Nauta, a village set on the banks of the Marañón River, one of the Amazon’s three main tributaries, where you board your all-new riverboat, Pure Amazon. Tonight, dine of innovative Amazonian cuisine.

Start your day at dawn’s first light on an expert-led birding excursion, viewing any of the region’s hundreds of bird species as well as amphibians, reptiles and mammals, such as monkeys or an endearingly slow-moving sloth. Enjoy an exclusive midday lecture from one of the local experts on board. Later, opt to set out by skiff for a night safari.

Go ashore to visit the residents of a local village to learn about daily life deep in the Amazon. Venture by skiff on another river foray, perhaps fishing for piranha. Later, keep a watch for the rare pink river dolphin and chat with your vessel’s expert guides, who recount stories of life in the Amazon.

Disembark the luxurious vessel and board a flight back to Lima. Enjoy the use of a dayroom until you continue your journey through Peru or connect to your flight home.
