What to Look For in Greece Tour Reviews
Most trip reviews tend to focus on some or all of these 5 key areas, not all of which may be relevant to you: the tour guide, travel company, service level, country or countries traveled in, and the trip itinerary.
Remember, just because you see a 1 star review doesn’t necessarily mean that person disliked the country.
Traveling in Greece is an experience enjoyed by a wide range of ages and interests. Some may be there for yachting around the islands, others for the mainland cities, historical, and archaeological sites.
Many Greece itineraries try to offer a combination of everything - and this can contribute to a negative experience as the tour has potential to feel very rushed.
Note: If you are visiting Greece in the off-season, particularly on the islands, be aware that some restaurants and activities may not be available.
Accommodation in Greece can vary widely. If you are on a budget, expect some quirks - many buildings are old, and the financial crisis Greece has experienced hasn’t helped matters when it comes to their tourism infrastructure. If nice accommodations are a high priority for you, expect to pay a bit more for your tour.
