Bigge Island & Careening Bay The rock art gallery on Bigge Island features fine examples of both Wandjina and Bradshaw art. At Careening Bay, lecturers will lead you to the site of a remarkable boab tree bearing the inscription ‘HMC Mermaid - 1820’, marking the route of early explorer Phillip Parker King.

Pender Bay & Lacepede Islands Board the zodiacs and explore the lagoon birdlife including breeding Brown Boobies and Roseate Terns, pelicans, frigatebirds, egrets, gulls and nesting Green Turtles. Round off the evening at the Captain’s Farewell Drinks.
