What to Look for in Austria Tour Reviews

Most trip reviews tend to focus on some or all of these 5 key areas, not all of which may be relevant to you: the tour guide, travel company, service level, country or countries traveled in, and the trip itinerary.

Remember, just because you see a 1 star review doesn’t necessarily mean that person disliked the country.

Many of the travelers to Austria and Eastern Europe gave excellent 4 or 5 star reviews. The majority of the reviews raved about the dedicated, knowledgeable, fun and organized guides, who made the trip truly unforgettable.

Another aspect of this destination that travelers loved is the rich diversity of cuisine, culture and nature that most tour operators have. Rave reviews also enjoyed the company of fellow travelers who were attracted to the region and these particular trips.

Additionally, they mentioned that many attractions were very impressive, particularly the unique architecture and history of the region. They mentioned that a trip to this region gave them a lifetime of positive memories.

Travelers decidedly felt like they had a truly unique and up-close and personal experience in each of the countries they visited, including Austria.

Lower ratings were not very common. However, those that had lower reviews or suggestions for travelers discussed the logistics of traveling in this region. Many tour operators combine trips to Austria with other destinations in neighboring countries such as Switzerland or Germany or cities like Budapest or Prague.

As such, travelers navigate varied currencies and cultures and it can be a lot to adapt to in a 2-3 week trip. They gave the advice to keep yourself organized and be prepared for a jam-packed itinerary.

All things considered, travelers to Austria and Eastern Europe thoroughly enjoyed their travels. They enjoyed the well-curated tours that took them on profound and enriching experiences to understand the cultures, histories, cuisines and natural landscapes of the region. A trip here seems highly rewarding.
