Day 1 : Welcome to Cape Town
Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly greeted and escorted by private car to your choice of hotel.
Day 2 : Explore Cape Town with your Personal Guide
Your half-day tour of Cape Town begins with a cable car ascent up Table Mountain (weather permitting). From the summit at 3,500 feet above sea level, there are spectacular views of Cape Town and peninsular landscapes beyond. Back in the city, your sightseeing continues through the colorful and historic Cape Malay Quarter to the Company Gardens for a walking tour; see the Houses of Parliament, the National Gallery, St. George’s Cathedral and more. Stroll among the bustling market stalls of Greenmarket Square, take in the Grand Parade where Nelson Mandela addressed the nation upon his release in 1990, and visit the District Six Museum which showcases the colorful life of this historic area and the forced relocation of its residents during the Apartheid era. Enjoy lunch at one of the city’s popular restaurants before returning to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of your afternoon at leisure. Meals B,L
