It was a chance for Indian leaders to strengthen ties to the British aristocracy and the Royal family. On top of ensuring Prince Albert would visit Jaipur, he also built a magnificent concert hall and named it after him.The terracotta pink color was chosen because pink historically represented welcoming and hospitality. Additionally, this particular paint was produced to be durable from the scorching hot temperatures.
Hindi and Rajasthani are the two most commonly spoken languages here. You’ll find some English speakers in common tourist areas like restaurants and hotels.
Public banks are open from 10am to 2pm from Monday to Friday, and until noon on Saturdays. There are many ATM machines around the city, and private Indian banks that are open until 8pm.
