Machu Picchu and Easter Island

Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Lima.

You'll arrive in Lima and transfer to your hotel. Depending on timings, you'll have the opportunity to explore the city today with your guide.

Transfer to the airport in time for your flight to Cuzco. You'll arrive and transfer to your hotel, where you'll have the afternoon to relax.We have deliberately left this afternoon free for you to adjust to the altitude.

Enjoy a guided tour of the highlights of Cuzco and nearby Inca ruins this morning.Spend this afternoon trying your hand creating some Peruvian recipes with a local chef.

You'll transfer out to the Sacred Valley of the Incas today, visiting the sites of Maras and Moray on the way with you own guide, who will show you around these amazing Incan ruins.

Travel by train to Aguas Calientes. Here, you will board a bus to Machu Picchu for your guided tour of these famous ruins. In the afternoon you'll retire to your hotel, located in Aguas Calientes.

Today you'll have another opportunity to return to Machu Picchu and explore by yourself â and at your own pace. Entrance fee to the ruins to be paid locally. After your exploration you'll take the train back to Cuzco be met at the station. You'll then be transferred to your hotel.

You'll be collected from your hotel again to return to the airport. From Cuzco, you will fly to Lima and then on to Santiago de Chile, where a driver will be ready to take you to your hotel.

This morning you take to the air again and fly across the Pacific to the tiny dot that is Easter Island.We've included a stay at an all-inclusive property here. Each evening you'll meet with your guides and discuss the options for the following day. These range from gentle walking tours, or hikes, to more energetic or adventurous options.

Today is a day of island exploration, perhaps visiting the nursery where the moai were carved.

Another day to continue exploring the island, perhaps visiting the top of Rano Kau, with its stunning views across the whole island.

Today you'll leave the island and return to the mainland, where you will spend a final night in Santiago.

Depending on your flight time there may be opportunities for tours out in to the surrounding countryside, famous for its wine production. In this version we have included a city tour of Santiago but that can be easily changed.Later on you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
