- There are numerous accents in England and they vary tremendously by region, and sometimes town. Some are easier to understand than others, but people are generally friendly and don't mind repeating themselves if you ask nicely.
- The English Countryside is famous for its beauty, and it’s well worth reserving a day to spend driving through.
- London is one of the best walking cities around - so pack comfortable shoes!
- English food gets a bad rap, but if you hunt around there are some gems to be found. From delicious pub fare like the classic fish and chips to more exotic Indian and Pakistani food.
- Be prepared for damp and rainy weather! The sun doesn’t always like to come out in England, or the wider United Kingdom for that matter, so be sure to pack accordingly.
