Bargain for a hand-knotted wool rug while sipping sweet mint tea in a noisy medina. Hike among the ancient villages and winding tracks of the High Atlas Mountains. Unwind in the windy-swept port town of Essaouira. Watch the stars from a tented camp in the deep, echoing silence of the dessert. The fortified kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. Roman ruins at Volubilis. The blue-washed village of Chefchaouen. What excites you? Travel at your own pace, in your own style, with the confidence that we’ll show you the best options, wherever you go.

Morocco Tour Selection Trips

  • You can literally see all four seasons during one week in Morocco
  • From the seas of the coastal town of Essaouira to the desert at Erg Chebbi, you might experience snow flurries, warm breezes, and even be surprised by a rainstorm. This environmental and geographic diversity makes Morocco a beautiful place to visit at any time of year.
  • Although your tour will likely provide guides who speak your native tongue, if you wander out on your own, keep in mind that the population mainly speaks Arabic and French (with some Spanish in the north).

Best Times to Visit Morocco

While there truly isn’t a time when you should not visit Morocco, there are some weather related factors that you should take into account before planning your trip.

During the summer, Morocco can be very hot. When the sun is at its peak, it can reach to the utmost temperature of 100 degrees fahrenheit. Coastal cities are relatively cooler but are still pretty warm. The fall is one of the best times to visit Morocco. It is less crowded and the weather is much more pleasant than the summer months.

Winter, in Morocco, is usually quite cold especially later in the evening. But the skies remain relatively clear with light rain on some days. The spring is another great time to visit. The blooming vegetation accentuates the countryside and the neutral temperatures make walking ideal.
