Amalfi Coast Walking Holiday
Borneo & the Malaysian Peninsula
The Borneo experience of wildlife, knowledge then contrasted with the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur, the history of Malacca & street food of George Town. Then to finish relaxation on the beautiful island of Langkawi.
Was a fantastic trip to amalfi coast…
Walking in Andalucia
Walking the Amalfi coast.
We were a group of eleven that ranged in age from 60 to 71, all fairly experienced walkers.
The whole week trip, that included various walks, a visit to Pompeii and Vesuvius volcano, plus a visit to a local cheese factory, was professionally planned and executed.
The accommodation was very clean and we wanted for nothing - a family owned and run hotel with that personal touch. We were even invited into the kitchen to help (or hinder) with the evening meals on two occasions - a good time was had by all!
Transport was timely and the driver friendly and helpful.
The best however was our own personal guide (Veranio) who was absolutely brilliant, with a good sense of humour and he had no problem to share his love for Italy with the team.
The different walks required a fair level of fitness, but were well worth it with stunning views in beautiful surroundings.
That said, be prepared to walk down and up and then down many steps again, so invest in walking poles.
