Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Hobart.
On-board your international outbound flight to Hobart.
On arrival in Hobart you will be transferred by private vehicle to your downtown accommodation. The remainder of the day is free to relax.
Collect your car this morning and perhaps take a day trip to the historical sites at Port Arthur.
Drive towards the rugged west coast and the pretty town of Strahan.
Take a cruise this morning to explore the wildlife and history of the Gordon River. This afternoon drive to Cradle Mountain - Lake St Clair National Park.
Explore the walks of the national park today at your leisure taking in the breath taking views of Cradle Mountain. The Devils@Cradle is a great opportunity to meet a Tasmanian devil and learn more about these endangered creatures.
Drive across the northern countryside of Tasmania to Launceston. The Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm is a short detour to the north of Deloraine and serves a delicious lunch in a pretty setting.
Take a day-long private tour of the wilderness areas of northern Tasmania.
Continue your drive across the north of the state today to the east coast and Freycinet National Park. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Explore the Freycinet Peninsula with opportunities for spotting dolphins, albatrosses and other wildlife. Take some time to see Wineglass Bay from the view point to get the full effect of the shape.
Drive back to Hobart today. You may be interested in breaking the journey in the historical village of Richmond. Return your hire car at the airport before boarding your onward flight.
