Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Mexico City. On arrival in Mexico City you will be met and driven to your hotel.
Spend today exploring the city with your own guide, including a visit to the Anthropological Museum with its stunning collection of sculptures.
Today your guide will take you to the Coyocan District of the city which was used by Hernan Cortez as a headquarters during the Hispanic conquests of the 1520's.
Travelling with your chauffeur-guide you will leave Mexico City and head for Cuernavaca just 1½ hours drive away.This beautiful colonial city dates back some 3,200 years and has some stunning architecture and archaeology to explore.
Today your guide will take you to Taxco and Xochicalco a pre-Colombian site with beautifully preserved pyramids.
Travelling north west your driver will take you across the country on a long but ever changing drive to Guadalajara.
Tequila is a major product of this region - today you will learn that there is more to it than combining with salt and lemon (and regret!). When produced in small batches by specialists this spirit is as refined as any single malt.
Today you will explore Tiaquepaque and Guadalajara with your guide taking in as much of these vibrant cities as you can.
A domestic flight will take you to Puerto Vallarta where a driver will be ready to take you to your hotel.
Time at leisure on the beach - you can be as active as you want here and if you want to pre-book activities please let us know.
