Collect your hire car from downtown Montréal and drive south, out of the city and into the undulating rural landscape of the Eastern Townships. This is a short drive of an hour and a half and takes you past many scenic villages en route to North Hatley.

Spend a full day at leisure in the Eastern Townships, known for its uniquely Anglophone heritage. The pace of life is slower in this picturesque pocket of Québec, and is filled with orchards, lakes and maple sugar shacks. Take a scenic drive through charming historic towns and villages, hire a bike, or a join relaxing cruise on Lake Massawippi.

Drive this morning from North Hatley to Québec City. Upon arrival the afternoon is free for you to acquaint yourself with this delightful historic city.

Today, drive along the banks of the mighty St. Lawrence River and into the Laurentian Mountains to Saint Alexis des Monts. Located in Québec's Mauricie region, there are over 600 lakes in the area, offering plenty of scenic stopping points en route.

Spend the day relaxing at Hotel Sacacomie - a beautiful lodge-style retreat in the Québec's forested wilderness, bordering the Mastigouche Wildlife Reserve.
