Itinerary
Our tour of Greece starts in the town of Chania, on the island of Crete. Perhaps most atmospheric at night when the many bars and romantic restaurants light up along the shores and under the stars, Chania is home of a charming port that serves some of the tastiest foo...
As a daytrip from Chania, we head to two of the island’s most beautiful beaches. Firstly, we drive to Elafonisi. When the weather is fine, it is possible to walk from the mainland to this island through shallow water. Next, we make our way to a beach known for its rock formation, clear water and white sands, Balos. After swimming there, we return to Chania and explore this charming town further.
Before relocating by land from Chania to the port town of Heraklion, we further explore the sites in Chania. En route to Heraklion, we visit Rethymnon. This charming port town still maintains its old aristocratic appearance, with its buildings dating from the 16th cen...
We relocate by boat from Heraklion to the island of Santorini. Today we explore around the island. Cycladic in style yet complimented by some neoclassical elements, Santorini is every photographer’s fantasy. With its villages perched several hundreds of feet above wat...
Today we explore Santorini’s historic towns of Thira and Oia. Whitewashed and pastel-colored cubic buildings and blue-domed churches seemingly pile onto one another, clinging onto the cliff-side caves of a caldera to form a dramatic landscape and striking views in wha...
Today we relocate by boat from Santorini Island to Milos Island. After arrival, we explore the island. The beaches in Milos are among Greece’s most beautiful, with their distinct rock formations. Less visited than the world-renowned islands of Santorini and Mykonos, Milos is no less stunning in terms of its natural attractions and old town.
We spend the morning in Milos’ main village, Plaka. It is perched on top of a large rock, overlooking the gulf. No cars can enter because of the narrow spaces between walls and buildings. The village’s architecture is authentic, as is the vibe we get when today we explore the island further.
Today we relocate by boat from Milos Island to Mykonos Island and explore. Now famed for seasonally hosting some of the best beach parties and nightlife in all the Mediterranean as well as featuring an exciting fashion scene combined with stylish bars, restaurants and...
Before relocating by boat from Mykonos Island to the city of Athens, we explore the old town: whitewashed cubic buildings, a labyrinth of narrow and stone-paved alleyways and numerous little churches dotted around town. In the evening, we are taken to some of Athens’ most popular areas for restaurants and nightlife.
We spend the day exploring the capital, with the key attractions being the ancient citadel of Acropolis and its museum, the Hellenic Parliament building, a flea market called ‘Monastiraki’ and the Plaka neighborhood.
Transportation will be arranged for you to reach the airport in Athens.
If you really want not to miss all the highlights Greece has to offer and if you have extra time, then we recommend you consider Rhodes Island (2 days), Paros Island (2 days), a natural sit...

This tour includes lodging for 1 night, specifically in Heraklion, Crete Island. However, upon request, we can book accommodation for you for all nights at establishments that meet your needs. For years, we automatically included 5-star hotels in our travel packages. In the interest of our customers, we ultimately decided to reduce the price of our tours and encourage specifically those with higher expectations to simply request room upgrades. Why? Some of our customers want simple and clean but ultimately cheap rooms. Some of our customers want 4-star hotels and are willing to pay more. Others want nothing short of 5-star extravagance. There isn’t a way to uphold ONE standard for hotels in our travel packages considering everyone has a different budget. What we CAN uphold are the standard and quality of our tours, all of which offer nothing short of a first-class experience. Again, upon request, we can upgrade your room type for the night included as well as book lodging for all nights on this tour. Let us know and we will provide you with pricing options.
Breakfast is included at the hotel. We do our best to ensure you are being offered healthy and tasty local cuisine. One dinner is also included, at a local's home.
Although we get customers of all ages and from several countries, our statistics show most people who book are 30 to 65 years old and from USA, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. We welcome your kids specifically and only when the tour is exclusive to you and your group-meaning other customers are not joining you. We define kids as anyone under 18 years old. In order to make the tour exclusive to you and your group, your booking would need to be for 4 persons or more for any of our tours except Iceland. For our Iceland tour, your booking would need to be for 8 persons or more. Regarding the cost of bringing a non-adult, we do deduct from the total based on the amount of activities you request we remove from the tour. Note that reducing the total price of the tour by removing activities is something offered for non-adults only. Adults can opt out of activities but the total price does not change.
