    Welcome to Portugal! This 9-night vacation package takes you through three iconic cities and regions: Porto, Lisbon, and Algarve! Begin in Porto with a private transfer from the airport to your hotel. During your time here, you'll experience the city through a sightseeing tour and through independent exploration! Discover the heart of Old Porto, the famous wine cellars, and so much more. Porto is known for its bridges and port wine production, so be sure to walk around and try as many wines as you can! Next stop is Lisbon! Portugal's capital city is full of vibrant culture. See the main attractions on a half-day sightseeing tour. Spend the rest of your time becoming familiar with Praça do Comércio and Bairro Alto, where you'll find some of the best dining and shopping in the city! Then, you'll pick up your rental car from the city center and drive to Algarve! This region is famous for its beautiful beaches and spectacular scenery. Spend a few nights here relaxing at your hotel, exploring nearby towns, and soaking up the sun! Consider visiting one of the many nearby islands, which are easily accessible for water sports, biking, hiking, and more! You'll drive back to Lisbon for one final night in Portugal before it's time to pack up and head home!

Itinerary

Day 1 Welcome to Porto!

Upon arrival, enjoy a private transfer to your hotel. Check in, freshen up, and get ready to discover Portugal!

Day 2 Porto

Today you'll enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Porto! Tonight, you may decide to find a restaurant along the Avenida da Liberdade for dinner!

Day 3 Porto

Today is yours to explore Porto as you please! Consider a visit to Livraria Lello, a beautiful bookshop with a bright red staircase. If you're into nature, consider also Jardins do Palácio de Cristal and Parque de Serralves. Pass by Casa da Música to see what's playing tonight! 

Day 4 Porto - Lisbon

Today, you'll enjoy a private transfer from your Porto hotel to the Porto rail station, where you'll board your train for Lisbon! Upon arrival in Lisbon, you'll be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the evening is yours to start exploring!

Day 5 Lisbon

Today you'll discover Lisbon through a half-day sightseeing tour! Spend the rest of the day exploring at-leisure. 

Day 6 Lisbon - Algarve

This morning, you'll pick up your rental car from the Lisbon city center and begin your drive to Algarve! The drive will take approximately 3 hours. Upon arrival, check into your hotel, freshen up, and find a quaint restaurant for dinner!

Day 7 Algarve

The Algarve region is best-known for its beaches and golf courses. Today, head to one of the incredible beaches like Praia do Barril, Tavira Island, or Culatra Island! Spend the day relaxing and soaking up the Portuguese sun!

Day 8 Algarve

If hiking and biking are appealing to you, consider spending today exploring the regions picturesque network of trails. See if you can find any of Algarve's gorgeous hidden beaches! 

Day 9 Algarve - Lisbon

Today, you'll drive to Lisbon and drop your rental car in the Lisbon city center. Spend one final night experiencing Portugal, perhaps with a glass of wine while watching the sunset!

Day 10 Depart Portugal

Today you'll be transferred to the Lisbon Airport for your flight home!
