Short Description

Whereas most fairytales conclude with “The End,” that is exactly where this one begins. In this vast kingdom of jagged peaks, massive fjords, and imposing glaciers stretching across the southernmost tips of Argentina and Chile, you are the sovereign of this dramatic domain affectionately referred to as the “end of the world.” Surrounded by the granite pillars of Torres Del Paine National Park, standing tall before the advancing Perito Moreno Glacier, and cruising through the majestic scenery of the Beagle Channel, you will reign before glorious vistas, bask in triumphant scenery, and even prevail over a colony of Magellan penguins on this tour of pristine Patagonia. As no ordinary toast will do for such a colossal experience, you’ll rejoin civilization in Buenos Aires to raise your glass to the ornate teatros, the charming tea rooms, and of course, the steamy tango.

Groups are between 25-60 people, typically ~30-40. Usually there will be many opportunities to split off and enjoy meals and excursions in smaller groups. This is the most economical way to travel, saving up to 40% versus booking the same itinerary yourself.

DON'T USE GLOBUS OR TOUR RADAR - They will not return our Deposit

Our tour of Norway was booked in 2019. The trip was supposed to take place June - July 2020. Then Covid came.
We are from Australia and were heavily locked down from about March 2020. We wrote to the travel agent (TOUR RADAR) who have done little to help get our $700 deposit returned to us. In contrast we had all of our Air Fares returned by the airline we were going to use and had booked with directly (No travel Agent involved).
We were given a credit to use by June - July 2021. However, there is no way we will be able to travel to Norway at this time either because international travel (except to New Zealand) is not permitted by the Australian Government. Not that we would want to go anyway because of the high number of Covid cases in Europe and Scandinavia.
Tour Radar and Globus now say that we should extend the credit yet again to 2022. We are at a vulnerable age and by 2022 will most likely not be able to travel internationally again, even with Covid under control.
Decent companies have returned monies paid but Globus and Tour radar continue to refuse. They are stealing our money.

Globus refused to return down payment on a trip that took place during the worst of the COVID statistics. They said we should have bought the insurance.

I have used Globus for a Greece Tour, as well as booking travel during Covid. Yes, the air travel department could be more flexible, BUT - the tour was outstanding. So much better than expected for the money paid. I have had to speak to Supervisors on occasion, but they always resolved to my satisfaction. This company is on the up and up and trustworthy. But most importantly, the product itself, whic is the tour or vacation, is well beyond what you could expect for the money paid. I will continue to use them for all of my vacation needs

I am utterly confused with those of you saying you couldn’t get a refund or Globus will give you a credit only or only a partial refund not refund you at all because you didn’t buy insurance when they cancel the trip due to COVID. I have had 3 trips cancelled because of COVID and I got a FULL refund within a month and I didn’t have the insurance on ANY of them. No one tried to talk me into switching to another trip, or just accepting the credit. I got notice from them my trip was cancelled, called them and told them I wanted a full refund and all 3 were credited back to my card on the next billing cycle. I didn’t buy the insurance on any of the 3 trips. Are you people dealing with Globus direct or a travel agent? I haven’t had an ounce of trouble getting a full refund if they cancel because of COVID. Something is awry—you are talking to the wrong person if you are dealing with Globus directly.

We planned a family trip a year in advance and with the Pandemic, this company has been all BUT helpful with a solution or refund on our European trip. Put $5,000 deposit down and maybe got back $1,800 in vouchers to use with them in the future! AND they said our claim was denied because a Pandemic is not covered by the insurance.... funny thing we can’t even get into the countries we planned on going to because of a LOCKDOWN. How is that our fault! This place is a JOKE. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

This company is a RIP OFF. I relocated due to my job, the job was more than 250 miles, I submitted all the necessary paperwork. And guess what? My claim was denied because " I wasn't within the time frame" my trip was for October and I was told "without any notice, that I had to relocate by November ". We "all" now there's a Pandemic going on, and who knows within 2 years if you're going to be able to use a "vochure" in 2 years. It is already stressful enough from the pandemic, lose money and move. When this "PANDEMIC " is OVER, I will NEVER EVER RECOMMEND this company!
