You’ll meet your private guide this morning for a tour of the Acropolis, seeing one of the top sights in Greece and delving further into its history at the modern Acropolis Museum.

Make your own way to the car hire rental office, collect your car, and head north toward Kastraki, located next to the Meteora monasteries. On the way stop at the vibrant university town of Trikala and explore the narrow alleyways and quaint houses of the old town.

Meet your hiking guide and hike from Kastraki uphill to the Meteora monasteries. From here take a path above the monasteries and hike the paths away from the crowds.

This morning you’ll meet your guide for a walking tour of ancient Olympia – the original setting for the Olympic Games – along with the Olympia Museum. The afternoon is yours at leisure to relax by the hotel pool.

Depart for Nafplio, but stop at Epidavros along the way and meet with your private guide. Together you’ll explore the ancient Greek theatre where performances are still held today, and the adjacent site which was once a healing retreat.
