Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Chiang Rai.

On arrival in Chiang Rai you will be met by your guide and they will accompany you on your private transfer to your boutique hotel.

You have the day at leisure to explore Chiang Rai at your own pace or simply relax at your resort situated on the Kok River.

From Chiang Rai head to the delightful community-based initiative of Lanjia Lodge to spend time with the Hmong and Lahu people, learning about their culture and traditions.

Today's activities are flexible depending on how energetic you are feeling. There are some great walks in the area to visit different hill tribes and waterfalls. You can also get involved in tree planting or batik painting.

Depart Lanjia Lodge today and travel to the town of Fang, close to the border with Myanmar. Stop to visit an art gallery and tea plantation en route. Spend the next two days staying in a charming Lahu home and visit the surrounding villages to learn more about the way of life and how this project is helping to sustain a Lahu community.

Today you say goodbye to this picturesque and little-known part of Thailand and head to the city of Chiang Mai.

Today your guide will take you to explore the main sights of Chiang Mai including the lost city of Wiang Kum Kam and the trading community of Wat Gatekaram. Through narrow alleyways and winding pathways best accessed with two-wheel transport, you will pass markets, temples and a vast array of unique "street life". Lunch will be taken at a traditional noodle cafe.

A local Thai family will collect you today for a fantastic experience into Northern Thai cooking. Visiting the family home you will learn how to cook authentic Northern Thai flavours and enjoy a home-cooked lunch with the family.

This morning you will be transferred to the airport in plenty of time for your flight to Phuket. On arrival you will be transferred to the jetty for the boat journey to the unspoilt island of Koh Yao.

Today will be your last day to enjoy your lovely beach setting.

Return to Phuket by boat in time for your flight to Bangkok. On arrival you will be transferred to your small boutique hotel converted from a former family home. Spend the afternoon exploring the city's temples and magnificent Grand Palace.

Enjoy some time at leisure with an afternoon street food walking tour of Old Bangkok.

You will be transferred to the airport today in plenty of time for your international departure flight. Your return flight will arrive the same day.
