Day 1 Welcome to Reykjavik!
Upon arrival at Reykjavik/Keflavik Airport, make your way outside of the arrival hall and look for the coaches marked “Flybus.” You have a Flybus Plus ticket, so upon presenting your voucher, you will be redirected to a smaller shuttle that will take you to your hotel. The remainder of your day is at leisure to enjoy Reykjavik!
Day 2 Geysir - Gullfoss - Skogar - Dyrholaey - Vik
After breakfast, start the day with a short city sightseeing tour of Reykjavik. From Reykjavik, head through the greenhouse village of Hveragerdi. Head on to the Golden Circle, to witness its natural wonders. Explore Gullfoss, the "Golden Waterfall," and the nearby Geysir hot spring area to see the famous Geysir and Strokkur, as well as numerous other hot springs and boiling mud pools. Continue along the south shore and stop to admire the waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss before continuing to Dyrholaey nature reserve. Continue to the village of Vik, for dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 3 Vik - Skaftafell National Park - Jokulsarlon Glacial Lagoon - Hofn
The journey along the Ring Road continues as you cross Eldhraun, the largest mass of lava ever to flow on the face of the earth, before reaching the small town of Kirkjubaejarklaustur, a former site of a 12th-century Catholic convent. The tour continues over Skeidararsandur sands to Skaftafell National Park. Continue to the stunning Jokulsarlon Glacial Lagoon to see the birthplace of icebergs. Throughout the day we are afforded magnificent views of the mighty Vatnajokull Glacier.
Day 4 Hofn - East Fjords - Egilsstadir
Drive from Hofn through Almannaskard pass, stopping to admire the majestic coastline. Continue to the towering mountains plunging vertically into the sea that form the magnificent East Fjords.
Day 5 Lake Myvatn Area
Explore the empty vastness of the highland desert plateau Modrudalsoraefi, heading to the Lake Myvatn area. On the way, we'll make a stop at Dettifoss, Europe's most powerful waterfall. Then it's onwards to Namaskard Pass with its boiling mud pools and vibrant colors. Explore the natural beauty of the Lake Myvatn area, including the pseudo craters at Skutustadir and Laxa Salmon River. One of the Myvatn area's claims to fame is that it is home to more species of ducks than any other place on Earth, with very diverse birdlife in general.
Day 6 Lake Myvatn Area – Akureyri - Siglufjordur
Start the day by exploring the peculiar lava formations at Dimmuborgir. Visit the magnificent Godafoss Waterfall and the old turf farm Laufas. Afterwards, visit Akureyri, the colorful “northern capital“ of Iceland, with its charming buildings and beautiful views of the Eyjafjordur Fjord. After spending some time in Akureyri, continue along the coastal roads of Eyjafjordur and the Troll Peninsula - enjoying the beautiful drive along steep mountains, with amazing views over the Arctic Sea and black sand coastline. The destination is Siglufjordur, set in a beautiful fjord of the same name. This town has some of the finest timber buildings in the country, beautifully restored to their original glory, and is an ideal spot for an evening stroll.
Day 7 Skagafjordur - Borgarnes
This morning visit Siglufjordur‘s award-winning Herring-Era Museum. The museum recreates the atmosphere of the early 20th century, when Siglufjordur was transformed into a herring boom town, thanks to a large migration of herring. Afterwards, head along majestic mountains and narrow passes to Skagafjordur, considered to be one of the finest places in Iceland for horse breeding. Enjoy an introduction to the unique Icelandic horse breed with its special fifth gait - the tolt. Continue towards the village of Blonduos, built on both sides of the river Blanda. Hrutey Island, a protected nature reserve, sits within the center of this popular Salmon River. Cross the Holtavorduheidi plateau through Borgarfjordur, to the beautiful town of Borgarnes.
Day 8 Borgarfjordur - Thingvellir - Reykjavik
Drive to Deildartunguhver, the most powerful hot spring in the world. A stop will be made to admire the beautiful Hraunfossar Waterfalls. You'll then continue via Hvalfjordur Fjord to Lake Thingvallavatn, Iceland's largest lake, and the UNESCO World Heritage-Listed Thingvellir National Park, the ancient site of the world's first parliament held outdoors. This is also the place where the North American and European tectonic plates meet. Continue on to Reykjavik for your final evening.
Day 9 Depart Iceland
After breakfast, you will be met by Flybus at your hotel, and transferred to the airport for your flight home.

Wasn’t a great experience or Great Value
Booking travel deals online can be hectic because you don’t have a direct contact person. You call a 800- number if there is a issue and you get who you get.
I had an issue with my PNR number not working when it was time to
Check in for the plane and because it took me almost 2 hours when I finally got checked in, we were the last seats on the very back of the airplane. Well you deal with it because you’re going to Hawaii.. just happy to have a seat.it was frustrating calling the airlines and I was directed back to Great Value ..
We got that issue resolved.
Now we get to the hotel and was told the daily resort fee was double the amount that we were quoted.
The quote we were given verbally over the phone was $29.98 and when we got to the resort it was 59.98 . It wasn’t a issue with the price , it’s the inconsistency of getting the correct info when you call and it’s not explained thoroughly in the paper work, and hotels aren’t to kind when you book thru 3rd party contracts. It appears everything is a good price but you are on the bottom of the totem pole for everything .. plane rides .. very last group and seat , back of the hotel airport bag fees.. not so sure this was a great value and no one cares after they get your money . I’m still waiting for a Manager to call me back and my vacation is over
Awesome location
