Cairo, Luxor & Aswan Overland
Overview
What's this trip about?
Itinerary
Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Cairo. Upon arrival into Cairo airport you'll be met and driven to your hotel.
This morning you will be met at your hotel by your private guide for a full day tour of the pyramids at Giza, Memphis and Saqqara.
Today you will be picked up by your guide for a half day tour of Cairo Museum, where the apparent disarray belies the vast array of treasures to be found.
After breakfast you will be driven to the airport for a short flight to Luxor. You'll be greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel for a three night stay.
It's an early start for a full day guided tour of Luxor's West Bank. There are a range of unforgettable sights, including the Valley of the Kings, the Colossi of Memnon and the temple of Ramses III at Madinet Habu.
After a relaxing morning you will be picked up for a guided tour of the imposing Temples of Karnak and Luxor, on the East Bank. The Temple of Luxor at sunset is a particularly memorable, unmistakably Egyptian sight.
In the morning you'll be picked up for the transfer down to Aswan. En route stop at the impressive temple complexes at Edfu and Kom Ombo.
You have a day at leisure to enjoy the laid back charms of Aswan. You might want to visit the extraordinary Temple of Philae, browse the Nubian Museum or go shopping in the souqs.
This morning you'll be picked up and transferred to the airport, for your internal flight to Cairo. Your return flight will arrive the same day.
