Day 1 : Quito

Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Quito. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2 : Quito

Enjoy a half day guided tour of the highlights of Quito.

Day 3 : Hacienda Piman

Travel to the north of the country and visit the pretty market towns around Otavalo.

Day 4 : Hacienda Piman

Enjoy a visit to Otavalo market, one of South America's most colourful. Explore this region further, take a walk around a volcanic crater lake or take a ride on a great little train journey.

Day 5 : Galapagos Islands

Travel back to Quito this morning in time to take your flight to the Galapagos Islands. On arrival you will be met and taken to your awaiting vessel before setting sail to your first site of interest.

Day 6 : Galapagos Islands

Today you'll wake up in Darwin Bay on Genovesa Island, one of the most northerly islands in the archipelago. On a guided trail through mangroves, you'll have the chance to spot Nazca boobies, swallow-tailed gulls, and red-footed boobies. Look out for sea lions playing...

Day 7 : Galapagos Islands

Day 8 : Galapagos Islands

This morning you'll visit Cerro Brujo (Witch Hill) on the coast of San Cristóbal Island. Sea lions are usually found lounging on the beaches. It's a great spot for snorkeling, with rainbow corals, many tropical fish and sea turtles. The afternoon brings yet more sea lions. Lobos Island is crowded with noisy, energetic colonies.

Day 9 : Galapagos Islands

Excursions on the Galapagos Islands. You will then disembark your vessel and transfer to your hotel on Santa Cruz islands for a few days' rest and relaxation.

Day 11 : Galapagos Islands

At leisure in the Finch Bay Hotel.

Day 12 : International return flight

Travel back to the Ecuadorian mainland where you will connect with your international flight home.
