Itinerary
Fly into the vibrant city of Dublin and pick up the rental car you will be using for the entirety of the trip. Head off to your first stop and spend the evening relaxing and preparing for the adventure ahead!
A great way to spend day two is to head toward Kinsale, stopping along the way to see Rock of Cashel. This historical landmark is filled with wonders to discover. After that, you can pass through Cork City to explore the booming foodie scene and English Market in the Rebel City.
Today, you can take a road trip to the Dingle Peninsula to whale watch in the Dingle Bay, climb Mount Brandon, or explore the Great Blasket Island. Fringed with sandy beaches and rugged cliffs, the natural beauty of the Dingle Peninsula is sure to be a highlight of the trip!
Take a leisurely drive through the Ring of Kerry. Be sure to leave plenty of time to drive "off" the main road so you don't miss hidden gems such as Rossbeigh Beach, St Finian's Bay, or Skelligs Chocolate Factory!
Move on from Kerry and head toward Ennis to visit Bunratty Castle, Burren National Park, or the iconic Cliffs of Moher. Don't forget to stop into town for a little shopping and some friendly banter with the locals!
Check into luxury at Dromoland Castle then explore the many exciting sites of county Clare. Consider visiting the Ailwee Caves or The Burren. In the evening, treat yourself to a final traditional Irish meal and a fresh pint before returning to your accommodation.
Say farewell to the Emerald Isle as you return your car to Shannon Airport and head home.
