What's this trip about?

The Everest Region is one of the most popular trekking areas of Nepal. Home to Mount Everest, as well as other high mountain peaks, the region is the land of Sherpas – the famed climbers. Hence, the Everest Panorama Trekking is one of the popular trekking trails in the area. It offers you the opportunity to experience the warm Sherpa hospitality as well as breathtaking views of mountains, villages, and rivers. Also, Sherpa settlements like Namche Bazaar, Phakding, Lukla, Mongla Danda, and Tengboche are brimming with tourists in peak season. Everest Panorama Trek is suitable who are unable to go to Everest Base Camp because of altitude, time, or other reason. The trekking route of Everest Panorama Trekking The trek begins with a short yet exciting flight to Lukla airstrip from Kathmandu. The trip itself is adventurous, as it takes you through tall mountains as well as above deep canyons. Furthermore, Tenzing-Hillary Airport is one of the most extreme airports in the world for many. The Everest Panorama Trekking starts from this small Sherpa town of Lukla. Our crew joins you here with all the necessary equipment. After lunch, the trek progresses toward Phakding, on the banks of Dudhkoshi River, where we stop for the night. From Phakding, we reach Jorsalle, where the confluence of Dudhkoshi and Bhotekoshi rivers greets us. After crossing the river on a suspension bridge, a steep climb of about an hour from Jorsalle will take us to Namche Bazaar.  Here, we stay for two days to acclimatize to the higher altitude. Also, our crew organizes short hikes to the world-famous Everest View Hotel or the Khumjung village for acclimatization.

Logistics

What's excluded

    • Nepalese visa fee and international flight fare
    • The excess weight of luggage charge(s) in flight
    • Extra Hotel accommodation, Lunch and Dinner in Kathmandu because of an early arrival in Nepal or late departure from Nepal, early return from the mountain because of any reason than the scheduled itinerary.
    • Travel and rescue insurance for trekkers only
    • Personal expenses (phone calls, laundry, soft or hard beverages, recharge the battery, bottled/boiled water, extra porters, hot shower, a pot of tea, etc.) during trekking
    • Tips and gratuities for guide(s), porter(s) and driver(s)

Accommodation

3-Star hotel in city area and basic accommodation during the trek

You will stay in Samsara Resort or Hotel Arts Kathmandu during your trek. A solo traveler needs to share the room with the same gender, another traveler. If you need a single supplement, you will have to pay an additional cost of about USD 200. During the trek, most of your accommodations contain attached bathrooms, while some of the teahouses may not have, and you may have to share the washing and toilet facilities in that case. Kathmandu and the trekking regions in lower elevation will have sing room facilities, but it will be hard to find them at higher elevations.
