Spanning 6 million acres and showcasing multiple landscapes from tundra to forest, Denali National Park is truly a sight to behold. Home to over 200 animal species and 650 species of plant, a trip through the park guarantees incredible sights. Only one road leads through this incredible wilderness, and only a very small amount of hiking trails in an effort to preserve the natural landscape as much as possible. Bus tours through the park are one of the best ways to see Denali, but beware that it will be bumpy! If you're lucky the weather may allow you to see the famous Mr. Mckinley in full, but usually visitors are only granted partial views due to the thick fog surrounding the mountain. It is still majestic no matter how you see it.
