The site shows you cheap prices, and flexible +/-3 dates, which is great! But the prices are not always the cheapest.

Really bad service! When my boyfriend booked through them, Student Universe changed the flight details and therefore sent him several emails about the departure time ect. The last one said that departure was the 25th of august, but this morning we just discovered that his flight was the 24th in the morning, so he missed his flight. We called SU and they even admitted that there had been a miscommunication in their team, and that they would figure out how to re-accomodate and book a new flight. Hours later we called again, cause we didn't get any answers... here a new person picked up the phone, wasn't informed about my boyfriends case and then later on (after being on the line for an hour) she told him that he would be better off buying a new ticket himself. Even though they sent out emails with the wrong flight details!!! So after hours on the phone with them (because of their miscommunication) he now has paid a whole new ticket himself. I am so mad on his behalf, and I cannot recommend ever using Student Universe to anyone!!!

Great start, terrible overall. The service was scattered at best. Had to call twice only to realize that because of a mistake and miscommunication on their part I had to buy a whole new flight ticket on my own. My total trip should have cost $481 for airfare but to "re-accommodate" it would have cost me over a grand. Unbelievable still was how non chalant they were about the situation and how quickly they turned their back to the customer. Will not be dealing with them again as they are uncoordinated, unprofessional, and in all honesty not the cheapest flight searching service out there.

Terrible!! I booked two tickets for my parents from Tampa to Paris with a connection in Atlanta. For some reason StudentUniverse didn't book the flight from Tampa to Atlanta (despite that they sent me a ticket with a confirmation number) and they failed to call or email me. My parents didn't know that their flight wasn't booked until they got to the airport. They were lucky that a Delta personnel was able to book them on the same flight to Atlanta.

This company charged my debit card and took my money from my bank, then sent a threatening email for me to send further photographic evidence of my bank card and ID before issuing my ticket.
Now i will have to wait for them to refund me my money up to 7 working days.
I have never in my long history of dealing with travel agents experienced something as bad as this!
UTTER NONSENSE! AVOID THIS COMPANY!

I booked a flight from NY to Orlando for $200 less than any other site. When you save me that much money, how can it not be a good experience?

This is the worst Travel Agency on the earth. 
STAY AWAY FROM THIS TRAVEL AGENCY. THEY ARE FRAUD AND VERY UN-PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE. THEY ARE LIARS AND ARE NOT HELPFUL AT ALL. I BOOKED FLIGHTS THROUGH THEIR WEBSITE AND HAD TO CANCEL OUR FLIGHT DUE TO A MEDICAL EMERGENCY.  THEY DID NOT HELP ME AT ALL. EVERY DAY THEY USED TO TELL ME A NEW LIE. I HAD TO CALL THEM SEVERAL TIMES IN A WEEK AND ALL THE TIME I WAS TOLD A LIE. THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY ARE TAKING OF THE ISSUE, HOWEVER, IN REALITY THEY WERE NOT DOING ANY THING. I FOUND OUT WHEN I DIRECTLY GOT IN TOUCH WITH THE AIRLINE AND THE AIRLINE TOLD ME THAT THEY ARE LYING AND WHATEVER THEY ARE SAYING IS NOT TRUE. STUDENT UNIVERSE CONTINUOUSLY PUT THE BLAME ON THE AIRLINE AND ALWAYS SAID THAT THE AIRLINE IS NOT RESPONDING. LATER, I FOUND OUT THAT IT WAS A BIG LIE. THE AIRLINE WAS VERY SUPPORTIVE, HOWEVER STUDENT UNIVERSE WAS NOT TAKING THE APPROPRIATE MEASURE TO SOLVE THE ISSUE. THE STAFF IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, THEY TELL YOU LIE AFTER LIE AND KEEP YOU WAITING. THEY WASTED A LOT OF MY TIME AND I TRUSTED THEM FIRST. LATER, I FOUND OUT THAT IT WAS A SCAM. THEY WERE TRYING TO STEAL THE MONEY, WHICH THEY DID. 

STAY AWAY AND I RECOMMEND TO USE ANY OTHER TRAVEL AGENCY, BUT NOT THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. THEY WILL PLAY WITH YOUR MIND, TIME AND PLANS.

I had booked a trip to Paris last year and they cancelled my flight and would only give me alternate dates that would not fit my schedule. I had to call them several times before I was refunded my cost of the flight. Of course it was only a couple of weeks until I needed to be there so I had to pay double for another flight on the airline. Awful service....would never use them again

They are kind of cheating. They are a fraud company looting money from people . If you want to lose your money so you can go with StudentUniverse.
They loot $1200 from me. I so regret when I booked ticket from them. Don't do book ticket from this  scam operation buyer beware if you don't lose your money. 
They only want your money and are done with you once they have it, greedy selfish shady operators.
My lesson tells everybody to avoid them for your safety. They just want to hurt your wallet and your bank.
Doesnt get any worse than this. Stay away from Studentuniverse to protect your money.

after you enter your information they then tell you that they need a copy of your ipictured identification.  F*** THAT. theyre telling you they are going to do IDENTITY THEFT AND USE YOUR I.D. AND IF YOU GIVE THE INFORMATION TO THEM THEN YOU ARE ABETTING THE STUPIDITY.  THIS MUST BE SOME CHINESE SCAM TO GET YOUR IDENTITY.  DON'T DO IT. DON'T DO IT. MOMONDO SHOULD KICK THEM OFF.
