Our Story

We started in 1967 in Michigan as “Your Man Tours” arranging tours to Hawaii for Veterans of Foreign Wars. The “Your Man” was reference to our Polynesian guides who greeted guests at the Honolulu airport with beautiful and fragrant flower leis. Our guides created a warm and engaging atmosphere as they introduced YMT guests to their beautiful island paradise.

Today we are known as YMT Vacations to reflect worldwide expertise in Alaska, Europe, and the domestic United States. Our staff have decades of experience as tour operators and take pride in making your vacation memorable and rewarding.

YMT Vacations is a member of TUI Group, which is the world's largest collection of specialist travel brands. Each brand is individually operated, creating unique experiences that are centered around specific destinations, passions or interests.

Lowest Prices and Unmatched Value — Guaranteed!

YMT’s Low Price Guarantee allows you to make plans as far in advance as you like with complete confidence. Our guarantee promises that should you find the same tour and itinerary advertised at a lower price, anywhere, we will pay you the difference plus 10% of the difference! Reliable, Carefree, Expertly Run Travel

With over 1.5 million satisfied guests since 1967, we have perfected our vacations — every itinerary, accommodation, and sightseeing attraction. YMT trips are paced “just right” for the mature traveler. We cover a lot of ground, but not at the expense of your comfort and enjoyment.

The Highest Compliment

Most of our travelers are either repeat guests looking for another vacation adventure, or first-time YMT travelers referred by a satisfied YMT guest. We’ll do our very best to ensure that your first vacation with YMT will be one of many more to come!
