Day 1: Arrive Split, Croatia

Arrive in Split, where you are met and transferred to your hotel. This evening, join your Resident Tour Director and fellow guests for a welcome dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: Split | Palace of Diocletian

Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

Accommodation: Hotel Park

Tour Split, starting with the Palace of Diocletian and its synagogue, and view St. Domnius Cathedral. Stroll Split’s Old Town and harbor-front promenade. Visit the daily market, and then enjoy your afternoon at leisure, before a dinner with a klapa concert.

Day 3: Hvar | Historic Waterfront Splendors

Meals: Breakfast and Lunch

Accommodation: Adriana Hvar Spa Hotel

Ride Like a Local by public ferry along the stunning Dalmatian coastline to picturesque Hvar, a lush, mountainous island, where Venetian palaces grace narrow backstreets and secluded coves beckon. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then stroll to view the town’s Cathedral and Arsenal.

Day 4: Hvar | Winery Visit & Wine Tasting

Visit a family-owned winery for a wine tasting accompanied by a diverse sampling of products from their farm. Explore Hvar Town’s center and view the gleaming limestone Spanjol Fortress.

Day 5: Ston/Dubrovnik | Oysters & the Old City

Head to Dubrovnik, the “Pearl of the Adriatic,” stopping en route in Ston, renowned for its oysters, which you may wish to sample when you enjoy lunch in a typical Dalmatian restaurant.

Day 6: Dubrovnik/Konavle | Walking Tour & Silk Weaving

Meals: Breakfast

Accommodation: Hotel Excelsior Dubrovnik

Stroll through Dubrovnik with your local guide to see the Franciscan monastery, the Rector’s Palace and Dubrovnik Cathedral. Later, watch silk weavers at work on a fascinating artisan visit in Konavle. Return to Dubrovnik, where you ride a cable car up Mount Srd for a Scenic Sundowner, taking in the fantastic city views.

Day 7: Kotor, Montenegro/Dubrovnik | Island Church

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Accommodation: Hotel Excelsior Dubrovnik

Travel to Montenegro, stopping at the Bay of Kotor fjord for lunch and boating out to Our Lady of the Rocks, a tiny church built on an island. Then, visit Kotor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tonight, gather for a farewell dinner in a fine local restaurant in Dubrovnik.

Day 8: Depart Dubrovnik

After breakfast, transfer to the airport to depart.

Upon arrival in Ljubljana, Slovenia, you are met and transferred to your hotel on picturesque Lake Bled, with views of the cliff-top castle and the Julian Alps.

Day 2

Meals: Breakfast

Visit Bled Castle to view the large collection of 16th- to 18th-century weaponry in its museum, and then board a boat to tour St. Mary Island. Later, join your local guide to walk Vintgar Gorge.

Day 3

Travel to Ljubljana, capital of Slovenia. View its 18th-century cathedral, Baroque palace and colorful frescoes. Drive to Zagreb, Croatia.
