Short Description

Crikey! If you’ve always wanted a complete tour of Down Under, with no red stone left uncovered, this is it. Doubling the fun with sightseeing in Australia and New Zealand, this exciting vacation covers New Zealand’s North and South Islands as well as Australia’s vibrant cities, golden beaches, and mystical Red Center. From Rotorua’s boiling mud pools to Waitomo’s Glowworm Caves, you’ll kick off your tour with the hottest--and coolest--sights of New Zealand. Aptly named “The Remarkables,” the South Island’s mountain range sets the tone for the incredible sights you’ll see throughout the land of the kiwi--and the home of the kangaroo. As you hop from Melbourne to Uluru to Cairns to Sydney, you’ll savor the architectural masterpieces of Australia’s renowned cities, the natural wonders of the Great Barrier Reef, and everyone’s favorite highlight of this encompassing journey--a boomerang-throwing barbecue under the starlit Outback sky.

Did you know the koala sleeps an average of 20 hours a day? Why not add a 3-night Monograms vacation to Fiji to your tour of Australia and New Zealand and curl up in a beachside hammock yourself? Between naps, you’ll enjoy a Sigatoka River safari and the sun, fun, and genuine warmth of the islanders.

Small groups are usually defined as between 10 and 24 travelers, often less. If you're the kind of person who enjoys more intimate experiences and personal service this is a good choice. All else being equal you will pay a premium for this style vs a larger group tour.

worst to deal with

had a river cruise scheduled but the person i was traveling with found out she was to have her first grandbaby on the dates we were suppose to sail but instead of letting me pay the 250 cancellation fee and bringing someone else they wanted me to travel alone and charge me 1700.00 for a single cabin so beware when you travel with them they are not flexible on anything i use to take 5 or 6 trips a year with them but not anymore

We had booked a trip in June of 202 for…

We had booked a trip in June of 2020 for spring of 2021. When they cancelled our trip we called and told them we would like our money back since that was an option, and it took about 6 weeks but our whole party (6) of us, received our money on each individual card we used. I’m surprised at all the people saying they can’t get their money back, we dealt with the company directly, the lady that booked our trip was very helpful. This would of been our 4th trip, and we always enjoy them.

DON'T USE GLOBUS OR TOUR RADAR - They will not return our Deposit

Our tour of Norway was booked in 2019. The trip was supposed to take place June - July 2020. Then Covid came.
We are from Australia and were heavily locked down from about March 2020. We wrote to the travel agent (TOUR RADAR) who have done little to help get our $700 deposit returned to us. In contrast we had all of our Air Fares returned by the airline we were going to use and had booked with directly (No travel Agent involved).
We were given a credit to use by June - July 2021. However, there is no way we will be able to travel to Norway at this time either because international travel (except to New Zealand) is not permitted by the Australian Government. Not that we would want to go anyway because of the high number of Covid cases in Europe and Scandinavia.
Tour Radar and Globus now say that we should extend the credit yet again to 2022. We are at a vulnerable age and by 2022 will most likely not be able to travel internationally again, even with Covid under control.
Decent companies have returned monies paid but Globus and Tour radar continue to refuse. They are stealing our money.
