Day 1: Arrive Toronto

Welcome to Toronto. At 6 p.m., gather at the hotel with your Travel Director and fellow travellers for a Welcome Reception.

Day 2: Toronto Sightseeing – Niagara Falls (2 Nights)

Meals: Breakfast

Accommodation: Hilton Hotel and Suites Niagara Falls/Fallsview

Start the day with an orientation tour of cosmopolitan, multi-cultural Toronto, viewing sprawling Queens Park; the lively entertainment district, stately University Avenue and the Provincial Parliament Buildings. Embark on a trip to the top of the iconic CN Tower. Travel on to Niagara Falls for an evening on your own.

Day 3: Niagara Falls Sightseeing

Meals: Breakfast

Enjoy a panoramic view of the thundering cascades at Niagara Falls before taking an exhilarating boat ride to the base of spectacular Horseshoe Falls. This evening, enjoy a delightful Be My Guest experience at a family-owned and operated winery. Join your hosts for an exclusive tasting of their award-winning wines, including their famous ice wine, a speciality of the region, made from grapes that have been frozen while still on the vine. The result is a refreshingly sweet dessert wine. Sample some of Niagara's regional cuisine created with local seasonal ingredients in a marvellous setting with stunning views of the vineyard.

Day 4: Niagara Falls – Kingston – Ottawa (2 Nights)

Accommodation:  Novotel Ottawa

Travel north along the shore of Lake Ontario for an orientation tour of Canada's first capital, Kingston. See the beautiful historic buildings, churches, picturesque neighborhoods and 19th century fortifications. Continue through rolling farmlands, following rivers and lakes to the current capital and arrive at your hotel, ideally located in downtown Ottawa.

Day 5: Ottawa Sightseeing and Free Time

Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

Embark on an introductory tour of the city, viewing the elegant buildings of Parliament Hill, Rideau Hall, the residence of the Governor General of Canada, and the beautiful downtown parks with their exquisite gardens. Tonight, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 6: Ottawa – Parc Omega – Quebec City (2 Nights)

Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

Accommodation: Hilton Quebec

This morning, travel to Parc Omega, a safari park with lakes, meadows, small valleys, forests, and rocky hills and home to various wildlife including moose, bears, raccoons, and wolves. Later, find yourself within the fortified walls of Old Quebec City with its artisanal bakeries, flower markets and lively cafes offering a taste of Paris in the New World. Tonight, enjoy dinner at a local traditional French restaurant.

Day 7: Quebec City Sightseeing and Free Time

Meals: Breakfast

Join your Local Specialist on an exploration of the city, walking the narrow streets of the atmospheric Old Town and the Plains of Abraham, the site of a major colonial battle between the British and the French. Enjoy the afternoon on your own. The evening is at leisure for you to continue exploring or perhaps savour an optional dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 8: Quebec City – Montreal - Canadian Maritimes Cruise

Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

Travel to Montreal and see the famous sights before bidding farewell to your Travel Director as you board your Holland America Cruise ship and set sail on an unforgettable cruise discovering colonial history, natural beauty and maritime treasures.

Day 9: Quebec City

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Choose to take the funicular or the 'neck breaking steps' down to the lower town where you'll see Notre Dame des Vcitoires, the Petit Champlain district, the port and the Musee de la Civilisation.

Day 10: Gulf Of St Lawrence

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

The Gulf of Saint Lawrence fringes the shores of half the provinces of Canada and is a gateway to the interior of the entire nOrth American continent. The Gulf is defined by stunning coast line and beautiful islands, including Prince Edward Island and the Magdalen Islands.

Day 11: Charlottetown Prince Edward Island

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Call in at Charlottetown where red double-decker buses motor along streets lined with Victorian houses.

Day 12: Sydney Nova Scotia

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Cruise on past the Highlands of Nova Scotia to the port of Sydney. Lighthouses stand sentinel on cliff-side ledges, tiny villages huddle in rocky inlets, lobsters make i from the ocean to your plate in record time - all in Nova Scotia.

Day 13: Halifax Nova Scotia

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

In Halifax, the ramparts of the Citadel defend the city and await your inspection.

Day 14: Bar Harbor Maine

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Continuing south, Bar Harbor is the quintessential New England coastal town and gateway to Acadia National Park.

Day 15: Disembark Boston

Meals: Breakfast

I’ve traveled to over 30 foreign countries. This is the first time I’ve tried Trafalgar. Initially, signing up and paying for the trip went fine. But the customer support is awful. I’ve waited days for return emails and hours on end for return phone calls. Their recordings apologize for slow service but that only goes so far. They need to ramp up their staff to handle their sales volume.

I haven’t even gone on my trip yet and I will never use Trafalgar for another trip. I booked the Highlights of Eastern Europe trip for September 2022 in early 2022. After I booked the trip I got a new job and moved to a new city. Being a new employee I would not have enough leave to go on the trip. I notified Trafalgar in writing more than 90 days before the trip and requested to reschedule for September 2023. I received an email back canceling my reservation, which was paid in full, and instructing me to call when I was ready to reschedule. When I called to reschedule I was first told I couldn’t reschedule because the trip was less than 90 days. We went back and forth because I had given them notice in writing prior to the 90 days. Finally they allowed me to reschedule but raised the price. When I questioned it I was told there weren’t any deals at that time but if a deal became available to call back and they would give me that price. I originally paid $4095 for a single room and was now being charged $4795. So I checked online today and saw to book this trip today for a single room it would be $4195. I called Trafalgar to get my bill adjusted. They refused saying they don’t do that, even though I was told last summer to call back if the price went down. So I am stuck overpaying for this trip and I’m already disappointed with their customer service. I will never use this company to travel with again. Horrible customer service and they don’t stand by what they say. You can never get through when you call them. 2 hour wait times. I am now wondering what their customer service will be like during the trip. This is an expensive trip and I feel really let down and taken advantage of by this company. Corporate greed at its finest.

The disgusting people at trafalgar are thieves! My elderly mother booked a trip in 2020 and spent a LOT of money on the trip…Covid hits. So trafalgar opts to take my elderly mothers money, and say thanks! No trip. No returned money. Just a nice “f*** you!” to my elderly mother! 3 YEARS OF FIGHTING!!!! TRAFALGAR IS A HORRIBLE, EVIL COMPANY!!!!

I waited 3 1/2 hours for a return call about a mistake on my itinerary and apparently the customer service person didn’t like my issue because he hung up on me.

I called back and have waited almost another 3 hours for a return call. They told me it would be 66 minutes.

It was the worst communication experience I have had with any service company.
Last month, I tried to book the "European Whirl" summer trip for family of four. Their customer service phone was always busy, the online chat was slow and the outsourced reps were not helpful. The only way to communicate was through email. But most emails were generated by system so they never really answered my questions. When I complained, I got an email like: we are extremely busy now, and the average call waiting time is more than 3 hours, you have to wait in the line just like everybody else...
It seems like they did not want to do business with me and I was begging them to take my money. So I ended up booking a similar trip with another company which I intentionally called three times just to make sure their customer service was working.
