"We have now taken seven GC/OAT cruises, four coastal cruises and three river cruises. No, they’re not perfect, but the thing that keeps us coming back is their Program Directors/Trip Leaders. We’ve cruised on Corinthian, their 98 passenger coastal cruisers and that ship caries four program directors, each of whom guides a group of 22-24. The leaders are wonderful, typically locals from the principal country where the cruise takes place. They are really well trained and can provide a wealth of information about every place on an itinerary. They are with their groups during almost every shore excursion. No other cruise line that I am aware of has a program like this. Also, there are very few optional excursions as excursions are included at every port."
