Day 1: Start Reykjavik

Here in the magical lands of Iceland we’ll get acquainted over the endless quirky and colourful buildings of Reykjavik. After checking into your hostel and having time to unwind, it's time to you’ll unite with the team for a 3-course local dinner, and a pow wow about the fine days that sit ahead of us.

Day 2: Reykjavik to Midgard

After breakfast this morning, we'll take a scenic drive through the Golden Circle, before a thrilling white water rafting experience! We'll paddle around 7km, through perfect lagoon and rushing rivers, whilst breathing in that fresh Iceland air. Next, we're headed to Midgard Base Camp, where the Northern Lights often show their face. Perfect for when you're soaking in a rooftop hot tub!Prepare yourself for the spectacular Thingvellir National Park, the site where Game of Thrones was filmed! We'll take a scenic drive of the area, before visiting an Icelandic farm, to get a taste of what life is like running a ranch on this frosty landscape! (And don't forget the cute animal selfies, too) It's up to you how you spend the rest of the day. Opt for a trip to the Secret Lagoon for geyser spotting and a toasty-warm swim, or head back to town for some chill time. And there's more relaxation on the way at Midgard Base Camp, where we can relax in the rooftop hot tubs & saunas. Ahhh...

Day 3: Midgard to Skaftafell

Rise and shine! After breakfast we're headed across the astonishingly beautiful south shore.It's time for more spectacular waterfalls, the famous Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss. After gawping at their thundering beauty, we're headed past the Mýrdalsjökull Glacier to Reynisfjara beach. Take a walk along the uniquely black sands, admire the crazy rock formations and remind yourself you're still on planet earth. Finally, you can opt for a kayaking adventure on Solheimajokull lagoon, or enjoy an included Blue Ice Experience with our certified and experienced glacier guide in Skaftafell. As you walk through a wonderland of glacial ice sculptures, ice ridges and deep crevasses on the glacier, you will witness stunning scenery as far as the eye can see. Prepare to be transported to an icy, foreign planet!

Day 4: Skaftafell to Vik

Another day, another included breakfast and another awe-inspiring National Park to head to.Vatnajökull is named after Europe's largest glacier, and is the largest National Park in western Europe. Cameras at the ready, we'll check out Svinafellsjökull, one of the most beautiful of the glacial outlets emerging from Vatnajökull. Feeling the thunderous spray of Deti Falls and walking the deep-blue Vatnajökull glacier will be highlights of this national park hike for sure.

Day 5: Vik to Reyjkavik

After breakfast today we're headed towards the Reykjanes peninsula.Prepare yourself for an exclusive bike tour along the hot springs of Hveragerði. This super unique, geothermal area has only existed since 2008 when an earthquake struck the town. We'll cook eggs and try fresh bread, both cooked on the hot springs, before ending our tour with a relaxing bath in the heated swimming pool. Later on, we'll take part in a local restoration program located in the Haukadalur Valley and find out why Iceland's eco-system is so unique (MAKE TRAVEL MATTER®). You'll probably be hungry after all that, so this evening, let's tuck into some modern Icelandic cuisine! We'll shack up at a cute harbourside restaraunt in Reykjavik and reflect on the incredible trip so far.

Day 6: End Reykjavik

Pack your bags back in pretty Reykjavik and try to stay on the high induced by all the wonders we’ve taken in. We’ll say our farewells as the trip wraps up, leaving us with a deep appreciation for this special country.
