Itinerary
Here in the fanciful lands of Iceland we’ll get acquainted over the endless quirk and colourful buildings of Reykjavik. After checking into your hotel and having time to unwind, you’ll unite with the team for dinner and a pow wow about the fine days that sit ahead of us.
Getting straight down to the business of going into the Icelandic wild, today you might opt onto the Golden Circle, visiting the country’s most intriguing natural landmarks. From the turquoise water ravines of Þingvellir National Park, to the erupting geothermal geysers of Haukadalur, this day will take your breath away.
Today we continue along the theme of natural wonders, moving to Skaftafell via the region of Kirkjubaejarklaustur. Here in these hard to pronounce parts we’ll find a peculiar pavement of volcanic rock, the rivers and glaciers of Vatnajökull National Park, and the cany...
Taking in the best of the south shore, today we admire waterfalls and black beaches, and cross our fingers for pony sized horses with teal blue eyes.
Today we have one last piece of the Icelandic landscape to admire before we move back to the big smoke. The bucket list beauty of the Blue Lagoon will warm us, sooth us, and leave us positively lost for words. Don your swimsuit and submerge into the bright azure steaming pools – a waterproof camera case is 100% essential.
Pack your bags back in pretty Reykjavik and try to stay on the high induced by all the wonders we’ve taken in. We’ll say our farewells as the trip wraps up, leaving us with a deep appreciation for this special country.
