Day 3: London – Amsterdam (2 Nights)

This morning meet your Travel Director before leaving London. See the White Cliffs of Dover as you board your ferry to cross the English Channel to France and then continue on to Amsterdam. Day 4: Amsterdam Orientation

Amsterdam boasts art, architecture, canals, museums, bicycles and charming side streets. Enjoy an orientation of the historic city centre. Visit a diamond polishing factory for a Cultural Insight to see the diamond cutters at work. Travel to Volendam for a Cultural Insight into the making of wooden clogs and Dutch cheese. Day 5: Amsterdam – Rhine Cruise – Heidelberg – Rhineland

Arrive at Boppard for a cruise along the Rhine. Stop in Heidelberg and admire the magnificent sandstone castle overlooking the scenic River Neckar. Dine tonight at your hotel. Buffet Breakfast, Dinner

Day 6: Rhineland – Munich – Innsbruck

Crossing the Swabian Alps arrive in Munich, the capital of Bavaria. See the Hofbrauhaus, the splendid Marienplatz and the City Hall. A short drive through spectacular scenery and across the Austrian border brings you to Innsbruck. Your introductory orientation tour includes views of the Golden Roof and St. Jakob’s Cathedral. Day 7: Innsbruck – Venice (2 Nights)

Day 8: Venice Orientation

Day 9: Venice – Vienna (2 Nights)

Day 11: Vienna – Budapest (2 Nights)

Explore the medieval city of Győr in Hungary. Stroll through this quaint city which stands at the confluence of three rivers and features charming Baroque architecture. Day 12: Budapest Sightseeing

Meet your Local Specialist this morning and enjoy a sightseeing tour of Budapest. See the Great Synagogue, the Chain Bridge and visit Fishermen's Bastion in the UNESCO listed Castle Hill district. Day 13: Budapest – Belgrade (2 Nights)

Day 14: Belgrade Sightseeing

Day 15: Belgrade – Sofia Sightseeing

Travel further south this morning and see the Turkish Fortress in Nis before crossing into Bulgaria. Arrive later in Sofia, where your guided tour with a Local Specialist includes views of the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. Buffet Breakfast, Dinner

Day 16: Sofia – Kalambaka

This morning travel to Greece. Enjoy fine views of the Plains of Thessaly en route to magnificent Kalambaka with its cliff-top monasteries. The striking, unique geology of the region led to UNESCO declaring it a World Heritage Site. Dine tonight at your hotel. Buffet Breakfast, Dinner

Day 17: Kalambaka – Delphi – Athens

Cross the fertile Thessaly region, the 'bread basket of Greece'. See the battle site at Thermopylae, where the heroic Leonidas and his brave Spartans fought against the invading Persians. A picturesque drive will bring you to Delphi where you'll visit the Temple of Apollo with a Local Specialist. It was here that every four years athletes competed in the Pythian Games, a precursor of the modern Olympic Games. Later continue to Athens. Buffet Breakfast

Day 22: Ancona – Assisi

Day 23: Assisi Sightseeing – Sorrento

In Assisi start your day with a sightseeing tour with a Local Specialist and see the Basilica dedicated to St. Francis. Pass the Benedictine Abbey in Monte Cassino before arriving in Sorrento. Buffet Breakfast

Day 24: Sorrento – Pompeii – Rome (2 Nights)

The ancient city of Pompeii was buried beneath volcanic ash when Mount Vesuvius erupted 79 AD. Enjoy a walking tour of the excavations of this site with your Local Specialist. This afternoon arrive in Rome. Buffet Breakfast

Day 25: Rome Sightseeing

This morning experience a Cultural Insight in the Vatican when you ascend the smooth and step-less spiral staircase designed by famous architect Donato Bramante. Day 26: Rome – Florence Sightseeing

Travel through the Umbria and Tuscany regions to the Renaissance city of Florence. View Giotto's Bell Tower and the Baptistery and visit Piazza della Signoria with your Local Specialist. Day 30: Paris Sightseeing

Day 31: Paris – Eurostar™ – London

Transfers provided to Paris Gare du Nord station where you board the Eurostar™ train to London. The journey time to London St. Pancras International is 2 hours and 15 minutes. On arrival in London you are transferred to your hotel. Buffet Breakfast
